Had one of these for a couple of years - very happy with the sound. Just bought another one to set it up for stereo sound - in this configuration the two speakers provide a really good wide soundstage.

Great sound and bass compact and light all at an amazing price

This speaker is very good. I bought boom 2 and this motion. My brother likes the motion more because of the good quality sound and bass it produces, almost reaching same levels with boom2 which is 199pounds. I almost regret buying boom2. Nevertheless boom2 is special to my heart. I love it, and has a bit surrounded sound because its a bigger speaker.The battery for motion is good, lasts long. Quick charging also.What I don't like is that my calls go through to the speaker when playing music with my phone. I have to turn off Bluetooth to answer call. This is the only downside of motion. I will definitely recommend motion over and over to family and friends. Just wait for it to go on sales.But on boom2 when a call comes in my phone while I am playing music, when I answer it doesn't go on the speaker, the speaker temporarily disconnect so I can answer call on my phone.Motion is portable and light weight. No distortion in high volume, all my speakers motion and boom2 no distortion. Good bass and sound at high volume.The boom2 is definitely for a bigger space or outdoor. But if you like loud music and young, go for any.I have a suggestion to the soundcore , please can you start making these speakers to be remote controlled, sometimes I hate to get out of bed to turn it off or to press the button on the device because my hands are always dirty from work. A remote control will will be good especially for the bigger and heavy speaker like boom2 that beast should have a remote.NOTE THE PAIRING OF SPEAKERS ONLY WORKS ON SAME MODEL OF SPEAKER FROM SAME MANUFACTURER.I WAS DISAPPOINTED I COULDN'T PAIR MY BOOM2 AND MOTION BOTH SOUNDCORE SPEAKER. I BOUGHT THEM BECAUSE I WANT TO PAIR BOTH FOR BEAST MODE, BUT COULDN'T. I CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE SAID I CAN ONLY PAIR SAME MODEL BOOM2 X BOOM2.I use tronsmart bang max 130w, that's a beast on another level, lots of bass, I could still pair all speakers.So they advertise you can pair up to 10 to 100 speakers but don't tell buyers it has to be exactly same model.

I bought it because I knew about it before. looked for something with good sound and pretty simple. It is good enough for my purpose.

Pros - You know a portable speaker is going to sound good when theres some weight to it. Sound quality is amazingly good for the price. The added punchy bass button was the reason for my purchase and it did not disappoint . Overall sound quality is brilliant for indoor or outdoor.Cons - Easily scratched/marked , battery life doesn’t last after 4 years unfortunately
