Touch Screen Digitizer for Nokia Lumia 920 - Black Front Panel Repair / Replacement Part + Tools

The installation is not beyond the abilities of most but, without more explicit instructions, could present serious pitfalls. I used a background or YouTube videos to assist me although none exactly traced the process I used.This comment extends to the provided tools which are not mentioned in any instructions.My suggestion would be to not attempt this if you do not have the eyesight, dexterity and mechanical aptitude to handle delicate parts and connectors with confidence.

I used the digitizer, my digitizer was cracked very bad, more like shattered. It took me a bit to get the old one off but once I did was easy to replace. The ribbon was a bit longer so it was a bit tricky to get it to seat correctly without coming out. The spacer would pop it out a bit. Once I got it seated correctly this worked perfectly.

The screen came with all the parts that I needed to disassemble the Lumia 920 and fit the screen in place. Disassembly of the screen did require me to heat up the unit to soften the adhesive. There is also a protective plastic film over the inside of the glass that you need to remove prior to installation. It would help if the plastic films was colored instead of clear, which is easy to overlook. Once installed the screen displayed correctly with no dead pixels. Some 3M adhesive tape would have been nice to include with the screen to help secure it place once installed.

Adhesive wasnt the best but the replacement works fine.

It works fine.. Less sensitive that the OEM. Good Price.

Note: The package contents are exactly as described so part of my frustration is self-inflicted for not doing more research prior to purchase. That said, this is not a very good kit if you are looking to fix a broken phone screen for the following reasons:1)The contents of the package are not a complete kit to replace your screen. It does not include the T2 and T4 tools needed to separate the screen assembly from the frame. It also does not include the tape/adhesive needed to secure the glass/digitizer to the LCD screen.2) The glass and digitizer are not OEM, they are a generic replacement (as described by seller). The quality of the materials is poor and the glass is MUCH thinner and more fragile than OEM, it appears almost half the thickness.After inspecting the parts and tools, I will not be using any of it and will look for an alternative replacement kit. $55 down the drain.

The product works, but it takes a while to reach its destination because it's coming from china. It almost took a month for me to get my item.

Worked great!! All the tools were there and they offered a website with a video. Not going to lie its a bit tricky but well worth it.
