Great product, but very high price in these days of mass-manufacturing and made in China!!!
I would give this 5 stars except for the difficulty of having to purchase extra pipe thread tape to ensure a tight fit. Even with the extra tape, there is still a small drip coming from the fitting. This is the third one of these that I've had through the years. Costco used to carry this 10 years ago, but quit carrying it. I think that this is the identical unit sold (and branded) by The Sharper Image (under contract from Shower Tek).It works exactly as it should and is completely fog-free. I balked at the price which seems very high considering what I paid at Costco for the same product. However, amortized over a long number of years, it is worth the price to me -- but not others. I used to shower then shave in front of the sink. This allows me to cut out one additional step and not get water, cut shaving hairs, etc., in the sink and allows it all to stay in the shower.

Let me start by saying I have over the past 25 years gone thru 4 of the cheaper white plastic versions. They worked OK but over time got pretty moldy on the back and the edges of the mirror started to get crusty. This was due to the constant water flow out of the back of of the mirrors which is they way they were designed to work to keep the mirror from fogging. Fogging was always present for the first few minutes until the mirror heated up. The mirror size was on the small side also and had a fish eye view at the edges where it was magnified. This time around instead of going toe #5 I decided to spend the extra $90 and go for this model.WOW what a difference. The mirror is spacious and as clear as any mirror can possibly be. If you want magnification flip it around.and you can see your mug up close and personal. The mirror is fog free right from the start. I have not seen any water leaks in the unit at all. The extension arm is longer than the cheaper model which is a big plus for me. The longer arm has no problem staying exactly how you position it. I have mine starting out at a 3 o'clock angle sloping down to 4 o"clock.I would never go back the the cheaper units I wish I had gone this route back when this first came out.

Junk, junk, junk!
This item is typical of what American's have come to expect from products made in China.Based on price and the Sharper Image brand name, one would expect this to be a top-quality item, but because it's made in China, workmanship and quality control are completely absent. The two enclosing halves of the mirror bezel were separated from each other near the bottom to the point the razor holder wouldn't stay in the groove (see product photos if this isn't clear). Additionally, the mirror housing isn't metal, but plastic: not what I expected considering the price paid.

It works as promised, but is this price a joke? I bought one from Sharper Image back in the day and it finally broke so I went looking for a replacement. This thing in not high quality by any stretch of the imagination, but for $100+ for a mirror it should be.

Expensive for what it is. Wish it had a valve to turn off the water supply when you don't need it as it really does take away from the water pressure and makes it hard to wash your hair.

Good replacement
Not quite as sturdy as the original version I had, and a bit more expensive, but works as advertised.

Best fog free mirror! Get this instead of the cheaper plastic ShowerTek model and you won't regret it!
I originally found out about this mirror when it was in a hotel I stayed in and I loved it. I originally opted to buy the cheaper plastic version of this mirror, but eventually migrated to this one once the plastic one broke. If you're wavering between both models, drop the extra money and get this version. It's worth every penny. It keeps the mirror fog free and doesn't have holes for the water to drip out of the back of the mirror like the cheaper version. Definitely solid construction and I expect it to keep performing for years to come. The best fog-free mirror I've ever found, hands down.

Very disappointed!!!
This product promises no fog. It did not fog for the first two weeks. Now it fogs and is just like every other mirror fogged up and hanging in my shower. I wouldn't pay more than 10 bux for this mirror. So just buy the $10 mirror and wipe it!!!
