Lightly spiced chai tea
I really lucked out discovering this brand and flavor! It's meant to be boiled - 1 tsp w/ 8-10oz water and milk to taste. For a real treat, add some ginger (grated or sliced). A fine mesh screen sieve works - I use almost boiling water and let it steep for 6-8 minutes. The mouth feel and crema that develops is a treat. Indian grocery stores sometimes have it for a little less. Update - the price increase is absurd! This still can be found for $5 to $7 in Indian or Asian grocery markets. Society 'brand' also has one but the flavor is a bit muted compared to Wagh Bakri's version.

Morning tea
This tea has replaced my morning coffee. Tastes wonderful and no "coffee breath."

Very good, authentic Indian Chai
After spending time in India, I came back to the US and found that most "chai" here is either a mix or concentrate that is too sweet and has too much cinnamon. This is a good, authentic Indian chai that is quick and easy to brew. Very happy with it, especially for the price.

Good alternative for homemade chai.
From my experience, this has the closest to a genuine masala chai taste. No pepper, so too wimpy for me. But...when brewed, strained, and mixed with something a little spicier, make s a good cup. Definitely not like SB's chai. Would work well for making a large batch and refrigerating. Consistency similar to freeze-dried, must be strained.

Bold and strong
I first bought this at an Idian store and loved it. The store is not near where I live so I ordered what looked the same here on Amazon. It was exactly the same. One of my all time favorite teas. Very very bold and spicy. Almost like a clove. Excellent!

Tastes like plain black tea
I LOVE masala chai and this tastes like plain black tea - no flavors of chai whatsoever. The granules do not dissolve so you do need some sort of a holder for loose tea. I wish I had listened to other reviews. I will not be purchasing again. I’m super bummed and disappointed.

Strong but not really spicy
The tea is strong but doesn't have a good marsala spice flavour
