Wilton Clear Piping Gel, 10-Ounce

This is the best product to stabilize whipped cream for toppings. I have been using it for a couple of years and love the way it enables my whipped cream to stand up when piped onto my key lime and fresh strawberry pies. This is my second container. It takes only a small amount to get the desired effect, so it is good for many desserts. It should be refrigerated.

Piping gel feel nice and works great for what I need. I am making some cakes with fondant and gum paste and it really helps with sticking the items on well.

It works and I love it

I used this clear piping gel to simulate dew drops on my buttercream flowers, and it gave such a pretty effect. It really helped add that little realistic finishing touch to the cupcakes. It does take some getting used to because the gel is very sticky, so you have to work carefully and use a light hand. A little goes a long way. Once I figured out how best to apply it, I was happy with the result. Great for cake and cupcake decorating when you want that shiny water-drop look.

This piping gel is great and works fine but the company needs to package things better. Mine arrived clearly having cracked open in the bag because the entire inside of the amazon bag is sticky. Such a bummer.

Brilliant! Mix it with coloured Candy Buttons (melted, obviously) and you can make a covering really shiny and wet-looking. (I made a cake in the shape of a bedpan for a nurse friend - if I tell you that I used the yellow candy buttons, you'll get what I was making look wet in that!). It's also good with a drop of colour for piping little gems or christmas decorations as well as writing.

Ich brauchte etwas, dass bei einer Tortendeko als Wasser durchging. Das Gel ist dafür super geeignet. Aber Vorsicht: nur gaaanz wenig Pastenfarbe zugeben, sonst hat man einen ganzen Topf voll blauem Gel ;-) . Das das Gel ziemlich stark klebt, war für mich zum Befestigen der Figuren absolut positiv.

This stuff is just brill. I love it. It can be used for so many things. I use to create a liquid look for my cakes eg wine, whisky, coke ect... You can also use it to brush over fruit to make them look really shiny on cakes. Its also a really good glue when sticking icing together - and you can eat it

This is absolutely brilliant. I am a beginner at cake decorating. I made a cake of a swimming pool and used this with a little blue food colouring and it looked fantastic. I'm now looking at all the other stuff I can do with it. As you don't need much I can see it going a long way too.

Have not used it yet but came highly recommended by my baking friends.
