Brush for Bird Baths by Songbird Essentials

i have multiple birdbaths, and the rough surfaces of the fiberglass and resin ones in particular have always been extra tough to clean (probably similar to cement/concrete baths) -- sponges get torn up and disintegrate, toothbrushes have proven to be too small and/or soft to do a thorough job, and the bristles on other scrub brushes have crumbled to bits under pressure. i wasn't super optimistic when ordering this dedicated birdbath brush, but after using it this morning i was pleasantly surprised by how well it did -- it has a nice large scrubbing surface, the bristles are firm enough to remove persistent algae, and it easily rinsed clean with water. time will tell if the bristles last a decent amount of time (for the price i would hope so), but for now the brush has made a great first impression and i'm no longer dreading this frequent task. (between all the birds and sun during the day and the raccoons making a mess at night, i'm usually stuck deep-cleaning the baths almost every morning.) anyway, if you've been frustrated by whatever tool you've been using to clean your birdbaths, this one's worth a try, and hopefully will have a long lifespan.

Good quality & sturdy. The bristles do the job of cleaning with little effort & no scratching at all.

This brush cleans my ceramic bird bath great! The only downside is that it's wide and sometimes I have to work on getting it angled right to hit all the crevices. That said, it cleans so well it's worth a little adjusting around it.

This is great for scrubbing algae out of the bird bath. Mine is masonry with no finish; I'm sure it would utterly destroy paint, etc.

I've tried different pads and scrubbers to keep my birdbath clean but they've been less than satisfactory. This sturdy brush, however, works great. It's easy to use, does a great job, and spray it clean with the garden hose after use. Love it.

Birdbath brush it sturdy and just what I was looking for to clean my birdbaths

This brush does have hard bristles and probably cleans some things well, but it did a lousy job on my concrete birdbath. Even after soaking in Clorox and using some detergent, it did not clean it. I clean the birdbath much better with a wire brush and a little detergent.
