That's why this bundle is affordable and for those who want to try the curly girl lifestyle before they spend $$ on liters of conditioner.I received exactly what was described and shown: 1 mini Deva towel, and two 8 oz bottles: 1 of low-poo original, and 1 of one condition original.Product came in one day, package unharmed and unopened. Choose your sellers wisely, do your research. Then you won't be disappointed when you receive fake garbage.

The first two times I used this product on my toddler's natural, thin hair, dry curls, I didn't really notice a difference. However, after about the 4th time, you can really see a huge difference. Her hair is now super silky and it forms ringlets naturally. I have washed her hair about every 3-4 days. Today I was able to run a brush through it in about 5 strokes, where I normally spend about 45 mins detangling it. The brush makes a difference too, though. The product smell is a bit odd, like soap concentrate, but it doesn't leave a strong smell behind after rinsing. I will put up with the smell for the results. I haven't used the towel yet.

I am really sad. I used these products in the early 20-teens when I was all into the Curly Girl Method. Had crazy good results. Purchased this kit, as I went back to embracing my natural look last spring, but tried some other products that were kind of higher-end and was just kind of, “meh,” about. Found my two former favorites from back in the day in a smaller size with the towel (which I do love), so I got it back in early January. I wanted to see if I got the same results this time around, after having heat straightening and color-treating my hair in the years between curly looks. (Please note, I haven’t colored my hair since last summer, after pool season ended-about September.)My hair looked absolutely amazing! I have 3b curls and these made them soft and decently defined.Then the scalp itch started. Okay, it was winter and that can happen in lower humidity. But then the flakes started! This was beyond the Ally Sheedy character in The Breakfast Club making it snow over the drawing. These were gigundus flakes, the likes of which I’d never experienced. Like, EVER! So, like a dummy, I applied more of the One Condition to my scalp, thinking because of the lower humidity in winter, this would also put some more moisture in my scalp. Itch got worse, flakes got bigger. I’d also ordered a small light gel, because my hair is thin and really fine. Hair still looked great, but my gawd, the itch!Then, a couple of weeks ago, after I’d used my NoPoo/One Condition combo, about 8 times, total, and the gel for about a week and a half, my YouTube feed started filling up with videos about Deva Curl and the damage some have experienced, so I stopped using all products at once! And let’s be honest. When you are in your mid-fifties and you are trying to take care of the hair you’ve still got Left? I switched to other products and am happy to report that the flaking is completely gone, and almost no scalp itch.Again, this makes me seriously sad, because of how awesome my hair looked, but I won’t be using these products again in my hair. This line was absolutely amazing, back in the day, but the trust is gone. 😢😞This really sucks, because that light gel is the bomb, but I’m now afraid to put any of their products in my hair. Do still love the towel, though.

You are better off buying the shampoo/conditioner on the DevaCurl website. They have sales pretty often and then after you spend a certain amount, you get free samples or a free Deva Curl towel. The towel that comes with this set is marketed as the original Deva Curl towel (grey, bigger than a hand towel, and very nice microfiber), however what you get is a dumbed down version for Amazon that is smaller than a hand towel (see picture) and is cheap like the microfiber cloths you can use to wash your floors. I’m disappointed in the deceiving marketing and Amazon accepting such a cheap product replacement.

I had such high hopes for this shampoo. I read the Curly Girl book and just assumed this shampoo/conditioner would be perfect. Unfortunately, it made my 2A/3A/3B curls/ringlets very undefined and my hair felt very greasy and sticky. It weighed my hair down so much that I just had waves. I tried the Cantu shampoo/conditioner and it works so much better! So, switching back to that one.

First, the con. The microfiber towel is the size of your average bar towel, smaller than a kitchen towel. There is no way to wrap it around your head.Now the pro. This product is fantastic for thirsty frizzy curly hair. It doesn't have a strong fragrance. It is thick and penetrating. Perfect for my unruly hair. It is gentle enough that it does not irritate my extremely sensitive skin (other products have caused break out and rashes). I'm very pleased and would order again.

Diva curl is the best shampoo and conditioner for my hair as I’ve got thick corse wavy hair

Certainly worked on my mass of fuzzy hair, got my natural curl back.

I love this product, however the photos for this item show the 355ml bottles, and the bottles that come with the set are only 235ml. Very disappointed as I bought this item with the expectation of full sized product! False advertising.

This is an updated review on this shampoo. I am writing this review with so much regrets and I really wish if I had trusted some of the reviews. I felt in love with the shampoo in this kit at first but after a few weeks my hair started falling crazily. I am having major hair loss and I am waiting for my appointment with a dermatologist. I do not recommend this product. Please stay away from it!
