Shoe Holder in the Closet
This is in my entry coat closet for all the shoes we don't use daily. The openings will fit a pair of shoes if they are a little smaller. A pair of men's shoes don't fit as well. It was easy to put together and seems to be pretty sturdy.

Stand up company
Great product, easy to assemble, sturdy, looks great and a great price. Great company to do business with, my first one got delivered to the wrong place, when I reached out the company had another to me the next day.

Very sturdy - great for shoes
I have 3 of these now (shoe lady here) and the work great for my shoe collection, they are sturdy, I can even put things on top of the square itself.

It works for more than just shoes, but may get dusty
I like this 25 slot shoe (or items) organizer because you can place it horizontally or vertically, on top of a shelf, dresser, or on the floor. Using the organizer vertically will make it taller. Using the organizer horizontally will make it wider. So be mindful of the space you plan to put it in! And I realized I can use it for all types of things; shoes, toys, scarfs, hats, gloves, put it on the floor of your pantry and put ziplock bags, bags, tissue boxes, etc.. Pros and Cons using it VERTICALLY: -when placing organizer vertically, each slot/cubby is narrow vertically as oppose to when horizontal, each slot is wider -You can stack pair of shoes on top of each other so that the top of shoes are facing opposite each other -You can stack shoes with soles facing each other, whether using the organizer horizontally or vertically. (But this way may not work with shoes that are taller in height) -put a shoe in each cubby separately (good to do if organizer is vertically, but not recommended when using it horizontally because their will be a wasted space next to each shoe in each cubby) Pros and Cons using HORIZONTALLY -slide shoes in with their tops facing opposite each other -with some shoes, using organizer horizontally, you can put 2 pairs of shoes in one slot! For ex, a pair of loafers and a pair of sandels. You can do this vertically, but you may not like LIFTING top pair to get bottom pair Note: *hightops and some taller sneakers might fit tight, or not go all the way in, whether you use the organizer vertically or horizontally. *with high heels, if you stack them with their tops facing opposite each other, it will work good horizontally or vertically Con’s of Organizer’s -sliding shoes in with their souls facing each other may be tight for some shoes that are taller in height -you will not be able to fit a pair of shoes side by side each other in the slot/cubby, regardless of the type of shoe it is Cons of Organizer, which is why I gave it 4 stars: -Shoes get dusty since their’s no door cover. For ex, since I’m not wearing my winter shoes in the summer, when winter comes, my winter shoes might be dusty. -as time goes on, the little bits of dirt that fall off from shoe get accumulated in the slot/cubby. It’s a pain cleaning each slot/cubby separately compared to having a long shelf for shoes that has a door cover. With long shelf or with a shoe organizer where you can fit 2 to 3 shoes at a time on a shelf, it’s easier to whip the dirt shelf. Conclusion: I had this organizer for about 9 to 10 yrs. When I moved, I got rid of it, and because of the 2 cons above, I ended up getting an 8-tier shoe rack and storage organizer, which has doors to keep dust off shoes. It is not a hassle for me to open door to get my shoes out.

Hunk of JUNK!
This item is the worst item I have ever bought on Amazon. It was very expensive & I was so excited to finally have a really good shoe rack! It had such good reviews & was 1 of the most popular shoe racks. The directions are horrible. The cubes which you would think could fit a pair of smaller shoes into you cannot, nor can you fit any type of heel or boot. When I was hammering in the nails in several locations about 4-5 to be exact it just cracked the wood, bowed it out, or a whole chunk just fell off, a so now it looks like crap! I want to return it but don't know how because I would have to disassemble the whole thing? Oh also the slats that you put together to make the cubbies don't lock together or anything so they're constantly sliding out. Do not buy this item! Save your money! I feel like I should get my money back and or be told how to return this piece of junk!

Nice design, shoddy construction and packaging for the price
I ordered 2 of these to stack one on top of the other in our closet. As mentioned by other reviewers, the packaging is pretty flimsy and one of the units arrived damaged (actually the box was starting to come apart, so that was a clue). Fortunately, the damaged parts don't show where I have it located in the closet, so I didn't have to send it back. As long as it's not moved around much, I'm sure the product will give us good service. Considering the price of these things, though, the construction could be better. They're just a basic cubby for shoes (or anything else you might need a cubby for) and as long as the fixed cubby size works for you, it's a great way to organize shoes. Women's shoes fit a pair per cubby, men's only one typically per cubby. And clunky shoes or high-topped men's shoes may not fit at all. So, it would be nice to have some flexibility in sizing the cubbies for the individual application, but then I suppose they wouldn't be able to make them so 'inexpensively' (sly wink).
