Dupli-Color DE1651 Engine Enamel Spray Paint with Ceramic - Cast Coat Iron - 12 oz Aerosol Can

For those wondering, this is near perfect match for a 2023 Triumph Trident 660 motorcycle alternator cover. I searched all over for the closest match. Just make sure to sand and apply multiple even coats with time inbetween.

After I used this spray paint it made me look almost like a professional, and I'm no where near that. I do recommend doing some prepping before painting. There are videos on YouTube on how to prep and paint. For example the thing you're painting might need some sanding with sandpaper. The distant from the spray can to the object. Or maybe needing to warm up the spray can because it is too cold.

One star because every other can of this color I purchased turns out to be flat finish and then glossy finish. So who can paint with that??? Especially when the job has a deadline to be completed. Also you best be outdoors when using and use a good breather. Price is no better than NAPA or other parts suppliers. Impossible to match colors even though every can has the exact same part numbers. I picked it out because I love the color of the dark smoke metallic, but none of the rest of the cans match that. Good luck to next purchaser.

So far so good. I followed the instructions on the can. 2 misting covers (10minutes between) and the final 2 coats, but a bit heavier. Nice and smooth. Like it!

The only bad thing about this paint was that the paint kept accumulating on the spray tip, had to keep wiping it off constantly. . And it wasent from lack of shaking it up..i was shaking it every 20 seconds or so. But other then that it worked out well. Also, I haven't heated the paint up yet, so i cant say anything about the "heat resistance".
