They work! I kept strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe and salad mix fresh for two weeks! If your goal is to make your produce last longer, buy it. I know they are not dishwasher safe, but they are worth cleaning by hand. These do not seal, but I believe that is part of the design to keep items fresh. I will buy again, so I can have a few more to use.

I feel all grown up now with my organized fridge. All that fresh vegee action is so neat and tidy looking and more importantly fresh! I should do one of those weird YouTube videos where you're oddly enjoying someone reorganize their fridge 🙃...of course I'll click 'like'. Now I can 'like' my own fridge. And it's so easy!My Dino kale and Swiss chard last so much longer. If you have half of an avocado left over, no prob you can just tuck it in one of these bins with the other cut vegees that you can now see so you won't forget.You can also prep your produce and have easy access. Cooking is so much easier!I actually got concerned some red lettuce had been in there too long and to my shock, it was still fresh and perky. It's so gross when there is a slimey lettuce leaf in those god awful plastic bags you get at the store. Plus you can't see what's inside anyways, you're opening random bags before you find the one you need...ughs, and they get all watery with condensation...one bad leaf can ruin the whole thing.Now I want everything in these bins.

I have been using the Rubbermaid vegetable keepers for a while now. They work great, but I have always hated how they look. Their design doesn't go with my aesthetic. I was however, also afraid to purchase this product because they are so much cheaper than Rubbermaid so I didn't have high expectations. I finally bought them to give them a test and I have just placed a second order because they work amazingly. I have washed and cut cabbage, broccoli, carrots, lettuce, radish, and green onion in these since the 17th (5 days now) and they are just as crisp as the day I purchased. An entire work week of grab and go vegetables and they still have life in them!Cleaning: I love that the slider for the vent can be completely removed for easy cleaning. Don't throw them in the dishwasher as many other reviewers have posted, but the product description even says they are not dishwasher safe. They really are not a pain to hand wash.Con: The only downside to this product is the lids have no seal or latch at all. They loosely sit on top.

As others had said, they are not dishwasher safe. Prior to me even putting them in the dishwasher, the lids didn't fit great, but I didn't think much of it. Then my food started going bad earlier than it would in the bins they come in (such as lettuce and berries). I ended up throwing them out after trying to give them a chance since it was too late to return them.

I have a garden so when I pick vegetables I want them to stay fresh! And this definitely keeps my freshly picked vegetables fresh! Definitely a good purchase. Definitely recommend!

Good size and quality but it said it was dishwasher safe. It was not. The item warped in the dishwasher (top rack) and now the lid won’t fit on the container with any reliability.

The picture shows what’s left on the bottom of a 1 week old bucket of prewashed salad greens. in decades of buying greens, we’ve never had them stay this fresh /healthy (by long shot). The vents truly do work in helping to keep them dry. Key is to toss up the lettuces creating more spaces/air between the leaves before you squeeze them into this bin. A pound of greens will be squeezed into the bin (just like the bins from the store), but this will ensure ventilation and evaporation of moisture that will rot out the leaves. The picutre shows the very bottom of the bin, we were able to use the entire bucket of greens without any waste, also notice the bits of lettuce are not brown, wet and stuck together. Here’s also bin of strawberries 9days old, I wanted to experiment on these bins. Not a single rotted out berry.
