Excellent Lightweight Backpack for Developers on the Go
I recently purchased this lightweight backpack for my daily commute to work in the city, and I must say I'm impressed with it so far. The backpack is incredibly light, making it comfortable to carry around. The texture and quality of the material used are promising, and I believe it will hold up well over time. What had me keep the backpack is how it accommodates the new Apple silicone 14 Pro machines. My laptop fits snugly with some room to spare for a potential laptop sleeve or case. Along with the laptop, I can comfortably fit my keyboard, trackpad, and chargers without any issues. The sling type design suits my preference for a sleek and minimalist bag that doesn't compromise on functionality. (The brand patch is also easy to remove) However, while there are enough openings and pockets for most items, you may find it beneficial to invest in an additional organizer to keep your smaller accessories in order (not a requirement). Despite this minor drawback, I can recommend this backpack, especially for developers or anyone looking to travel light. Its compact size combined with the ability to carry essential devices makes it an excellent choice.

Overall Perfect!
PROS: - The only side-open sling bag with tablet capacity I could find. - Fits all my daily needs, including an iPad Pro 11” (12” may or may not fit, it was tight with the Magic Keyboard on), chargers, multiple personal care items, phone, wallet, traveller’s journal, etc. - Everything fits flat and carries very comfortably. - Has a loop to secure any excess strap. - Really like the mesh zip section in the front pocket. NEUTRALS: - The material is a lot thinner than I was expecting from Carhartt. Not terrible since this helps lighten it, but I was expecting thicker. - It has a plastic buckle. Wasn’t expecting any different at this price point, but I prefer metal. - Collects dirt like crazy. I’m not new to black bags, and this one feels like a magnet for dirt prints. UPDATE: I was proved wrong. It will hold some contrasting dirt occasionally, but it stays clean for the most part. This is updated to a non-issue. - UPDATE: The hidden pocket will only hold keys OR a phone, probably an iPhone 14 Pro Max at most. Wider phones may run into issues fitting (such as the Duo). CONS: - It definitely runs small! I wear a men’s medium/women’s large and have a large bust - there’s only a few more inches of strap to expand it. I do tend to sit my packs lower, but even so I’m concerned about being able to wear it with any sort of heavy jacket. - The iPad/tablet pocket is pretty tight for an 11” iPad Pro, especially with a case. It can be awkward to maneuver in or out, especially with other items in the bag. (I’m not convinced this is entirely a con, because it seems inevitable to have the bag keep its size/shape, which I love). But you won’t be able to fit anything wider. UPDATE: I’ve taken to just leaving my iPad out of the slot if I have a lot of other items in the bag because it’s so awkward to get in. Hasn’t been a problem doing this though, other than general organization. INFO: - I couldn’t find ANY pictures of the interior pockets; I included some here. For those with vision impairment, the main pocket has a half-length padded tablet pocket on the back, and a half-length mesh on the front. The front pocket has a zippered mesh pocket across the length in the front and is otherwise open. There is also a ‘hidden’ fleece (?) lined side pocket for your wallet/phone/misc. CONCLUSION: - I love it. It’s going to be my daily for on-the-go and hoping it has good longevity. UPDATE: Still my everyday bag. I love this thing.

Easy to use and very Durable!
Great little bag! I’ve been using it almost everyday for over a year now and is still holding up like new. Use it to carry my water bottle, prescriptions, wallet, and more! Only downside is it doesn’t fit my computer (my computer is way too big I need a new one) I’m sure it would fit a iPad or a MacBook Air just fine tho!

Surpriingly sturdy and roomy. A must have.
I got tired of lugging around a backpack on days I'd use the pool at the gym. I was looking for a bag that was smaller but would hold what I needed. I've tried sling bags from Under Armour and Adidas, but they didn't hold what I needed, or were made out of shapeless nylon. This bag seemed to be large enough to haul all that I needed - towel, flip flops, goggles, ear plugs, and a change of clothes. It holds an astonishing amount of stuff in a compact form. It has a main pocket that holds my ZUMI towel, flip flops and clothes. There's even another pocket over that one that holds my goggles and ear plugs. A small security pocket on the side will hold a wallet or keys. All in all, it holds what I need with room to spare! It's very sturdy and keeps its shape. I'm very pleased with it and I think you will be as well. The price is a bit higher than other bags, but it's worth it.

Love the quality and color of this bag, just a little too small for my needs!
This review is very close to my review of the Pac—— 325 vibe. First of all I absolutely love the color and quality of construction and materials used in this product. I needed it to be a little larger even though it’s a decent size and have at least one more zippered pocket and a water bottle attachment somewhere. The strap it’s a little too narrow for my liking. I feel the compartment could be a little bit more padded and slightly larger at least 2 inches in every direction. I would not hesitate to purchase this product if you need an average size sling bag that won’t be overloaded and lacking security features. For general every-day usage, security features are not a problem - I just mention that because some people really would prefer that especially when traveling extensively. Overall not as robust as the Pac—— 325, but a great product.

Perfect Everyday Sling
The overall design and layout is ideal. The material is rugged and waterproof, the “duck camo” print is subtle in person. The multiple zipper compartments and storage pouches make carrying anything a breeze. I’m 6’3 and the strap adjusted comfortably.

Perfect for the everyday use Carry.
Can be held in front for ease of access (for nervous situations, or safety if worried about pickpockets, etc.) Has a 3 outer zippers, with one good for very small stuff and is sort of hidden. There are also two other pockets, with main one for bigger stuff (does not hold a macbook air well (or in a way that is trust worthy as the bag isn't square). That area is still very useful, and the obvious front pocket has room for a wallet, keys, knife, pocket day notebook, pens, etc. and has two sections, with a mesh section that can be zippered closed. Also this section has a spot for attaching something, like an AirTag. And the big pocket can fit a small smg if done right, but I imagine few use that, and even I don't (but could if I needed to). Allows flexibility in situations, and strap gets tight enough to allow you to run with it even when weighted awkwardly. I use it often for carrying one item, since it can be annoying to carry some items on your body. Its 100x better than special/purpose made bags that cost twice the price (which I returned).

Great bag!
Carhartt is such a great brand. Honestly anything with their name on it is going to be good. Love this bag! I'm a mom and it's perfect. Holds a lot of stuff and many pockets that help keep things organized. It's waterproof and so far toddler proof 😊 It's one of the best bags I've ever bought. Quality is great and very sturdy. Definitely recommend.
