Before I ordered this I had a contractor doing some work in the house. He was in and out for a couple of days and flies were everywhere.We killed many of them with regular fly swatters. Then I saw this item on Amazon and thought it would be cool. It was rated pretty good. When it arrived the other day I tried it out on a few flies and it works great!There was a mosquito that got zapped as well. I actually didn't see the mosquito but heard the Zapper when he fried, then later saw the dead mosquito on a table.I also later found out my neighbor has one of these too and is happy with it.For now I'm pleased with it. Just have to wait for some more bugs I guess. Lol

We received the zapper just in time for the summer bug months. It worksgood, we have had an issue with bigger bugs - -it only stuns them and takes a few hits. My son actually had to "trap" a large moth between a wall and the swatter in order to "zap it to death". It then was stuck to the swatter and had to be cleaned off. eeewwww My husband wants to buy a couple more so I think that rates it as good.My mom came over on July 9th and liked the zapper so much - I bought one for her and had it shipped directly to her house. She loves it too.

I bought this because our house was being overrun by fruit flies and all the traps in the world would not put a dent in their population. This did the trick and was very entertaining. I was worried that the mesh would be too large for the tiny flies, but none of them got through.

Kills them dead, had a older modle that used c batters. wasn't sure this one would work as well as the old model because of only AA. but believe or not I think it works much better. the safty screen is more open and just seem like it's has twice killing power. and much lighter. Love it!

It was received in a timely manner and good shape, is sturdy and has worked well on small to medium size insects so far, up to the size of stink bugs. The stink bug did not release any scent as initially feared. The only issue was it discharged a few times without the trigger being depressed, but with the insulated cage over the grid was not a concern.

Bought this to replace one we had for a long time that finally shorted out. When this one works it does well, but it doesn't always work. Also the battery case cover did not stay on right from the start and the coils where you insert the batteries are too long so they bend over and you can't get a connection. You have to stick something under the coil to hold it straight while you put in the battery. A lot more work than it should be. At least once the batteries are in they stay, because of course the cover doesn't. It doesn't always work when you push the button and you have to be very careful where you set it down (not on paper or fabric) because sometimes it will spark all by itself, which can be dangerous. Although when it does work it's pretty spectacular.

This Terminator does the job!! One thing that could be doneto make it better is, a strip of fabric in the battery compartmentto help lift one of the battery's out. I made one myself becausethere is not enough room for two battery's. The strip of fabric helps.This is a good product.

I lighter than the one I replaced that had two D batteries this one has two AA so concerned will not last long and have the killing power but have not used but one or two times. Only reason at this point in time take a star off is the battery compartment cover does not fit well and difficult o replace.
