The unit also comes with a calibration certificate. **Q: Can it be used to loosen screws without damaging the wrench? In other words, can it be used as a regular screw driver?** A: We do not recommend it be used to remove screws. **Q: Can this be used to torque reverse threads?** A: It can measure CCW torque and beeped at the proper time, but it seemed off by 15% in the reverse direction (or maybe my torque meter is not calibrated CCW... not sure). Still tho, worth the purchase!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Revised: Tool failure Issues after only a few uses - Wheeler is sending replacement *by A***R on March 19, 2024* REVISED I purchased this for use in mounting scopes and other attachments. I have used it about 4 times and it just died. The screen starts beeping and digital characters blink in random. So I thought perhaps the CR2032 battery was bad or getting too low to power the tool. So I removed it and tested it which only showed me that it was new and fully powered, yet the tool wouldnt work. I put the battery back into the unit and now it wont even power on to the point of beeping. This is unacceptable that a fairly new tool with very little use fails and I expect a replacement. I am revising this review based on feedback from Wheeler directly. After calling their tech support and working through the problem they offered to send a full replacement for the unit. I greatly appreciate how quickly they addressed the problem and the support team was very helpful and ultimately determined that sending a replacement was the right thing to do.
