Love this! It’s inflatable and really durable. I feel good fishing from it with no worries. It is a bit heavy to carry but it comes with a great backpack. I did purchase and electric pump to air it up. Can probably get several seasons in Alaska with it

I am writing this review four years after the purchase. I bought two of these so that we could each use them with one of us and one of our dogs. They are easy to pack and use with just one person. Very relaxing and fun to use.We noticed at the end of last year that there was a slow leak on the side. It took a couple hours to even feel anything so it didn’t hold us back from using them. Yesterday we took him out for the first time since last year. We were out about two hours and there was a significant notice in the deflation in one of the kayaks in one section. But again I was out for two hours and able to paddle back and it was just soft, not dangerous. With a quick soap water technique I found the leak and patched it (very small) with the included quick patch kit. Will be using again this week. This has been a very good purchase.

Very sturdy, don't have to worry about flipping over, the weight is light making it easy to transport and carry, tracking is not as good as I hoped it would be but good enough. Material is very good, not concerned about puncturing it. It does not handle wind or choppy water well, get blown and pushed around easy great for calm water. The seat sits you up high, which I do like though it's not the most supportive, going to rig up something to get more lower back support. Overall for the price it is a very good kayak, easy to pack up and take with you in a car, inflation/deflation is easy as well. Got me back out and I'm happy with that. I would have spent a little more to get better handling in rougher water and faster/straighter tracking.

Very good for shorter river trips 1-2days or a full day of fishing. They features I like most about this kayak compared to some of the others in this price range is the D rings and the seat setup. You can buy after market d ring kits but they can’t be put in inflatable kayaks that stretch. D rings are very useful for rapids and white water. Having the ability to clip/strap you stuff to your kayak incase it flips is important. The seat and bottom inflatable booster is a very nice touch. Riding on the booster makes it a little unstable on rapids due to being higher up. At the same time it is nice because it keeps you out of any water that splashes in making it longer in between time you need to bail it. It also has a bailing hole in the back so you don’t have to flip it over to drain. The booster is also nice for flat water and fishing because again you wont be sitting in any water that comes in and it gives you more hip space. It get a lot more stable if you take out the booster for rapids and being that it is not very big you can take it in and out and you wont get winded if you choose to deflate it for a river trio when you know bigger rapids are coming up. The sides and bottom get fairly stiff when inflated to recommendation of the gauge so class 1&2 white water will be fine. I am not 100 percent if I would take it on higher classes. It maneuvera well and the 2 skeg length both track ok. The oar is serviceable for a beginner. It is rather light but the paddles are kinda flimsy. There is a lot of complaints about the fishing pole holders pointing away from the kayak and I can agree. They are just fine if you are putting stuff on your line or just holding your pole for paddling but they are a little bothersome if you want to set it and for get it. Having them face out the side or swivel would be better. All in all I am very happy with this and try to use it a couple times a week. I bought a separate backpack for the pump and attachments so I don’t know how well it all fits in the bag.

Be very careful and read the reviews. I bought one of these kayaks and it was easy to put together and I loved it for on a lake. I bought a second one for my house at the Shore and one of the valves was defective. I thought I had blown it up anyway, but during the course of using it, my friend noticed the one side where the valve didn’t work was deflating and I got back just in time. I’m so disappointed. It’s a 50-50 shot whether you get one that works or defective. It was too late to return because I had it for a year before I opened it. I was building a new house on the water.

Perfect!! I’m from Washington just outside of Seattle and I use this in Lake Washington all the time!! Good balance very streamline in the water lightweight and easy to carry when it’s packed up I love it!!!

Stable, has 3 inflation chambers, PVC seems thick and durable,tracks well while paddling.

If you are serious about kayaking or fishing, don’t waste your time. It’s serviceable.. but that’s about it.While I enjoyed the one trip I was able to take it on, one of the side compartments got a hole and was deflating on me on the water. The worst I did was paddle over some sticks near the launch which were unavoidable. I can’t even say for certain if the sticks caused the tiny air leak or if it just came that way.This thing is also terrible in any wind or current. You will not be able to stay straight if you stop paddling.You will need to upgrade your seat & paddles for sure.Finally, inflating and deflating this was the worst experience of the whole trip. Set up isn’t terrible, although it does take 5-10 minutes to inflate and attach all your gear. Deflating and packing up on the other hand was brutal. It takes a while to dry, so trying to stuff it wet & muddy into the bag was just not a good experience.It could work on very calm open waters for the novice kayaker, but it leaves way too much to be desired.

Lo compre en 2450 y por ese precio está muy bien pero si tiene sus detalles.. en mi caso el soporte delante de los pies donde puede ir la gopro estaba desarmada y debería ir ya armada de fábrica sin salirse.. veo que muchos salen con detalle pero por lo que me costó si vale la pena

UPDATE: After only a few uses of my Excursion Pro K1, one of the floor seams let go while inflating, rendering the kayak unusable. I am lucky it happened on dry land. That is when I decided to spend more and purchased a hard folding kayak (Tucktec).So I started my inflatable kayak collection with the K1 Challenger. Next I got the K2 Explorer. I decided to get the K1 Excursion and I will say that I love them all. I Feel stable in the water. My Challenger is 4 years old and I have not had any leaks yet. Wind and current can make paddling a challenge so make sure you are aware of the weather conditions. They are fairly easy to set up with a little effort. The deflating, drying and folding up is my least favorite thing but still worth it. If you are not able to store or transport a hard kayak, this is the way to go. There are more expensive ones on the market but I wanted to make sure I would enjoy leisure kayaking before spending a lot. And the Intex IKs are exactly what I need for what I do so far.Happy paddling!!!!
