This strap is just right for a mirrorless camera like the Canon a5000/a6000 series. It's proportionally smaller than a big padded SLR strap, but sturdy enough that it feels safer and more comfortable than a narrow compact strap. The nylon strap material is very soft and smooth, so it adjusts very quickly: from safe and snug to loose and ready to shoot with one easy motion, after you get used to it. The leather shoulder pad is a little stiff when brand new, but it feels like good quality leather, so it should soften nicely with use, and it's not rough or sharp, so it's still comfortable to carry.Easy to install on my camera lugs with the included cord loops.I don't have the optional screw-in attachment point that goes on the tripod mount - those seem like a big advantage for SLR cameras with heavy lenses, where the lens tends to hang pointing downward anyway. In contrast, on a mirrorless with a slim lens, the camera hangs nicely flat against your body when attached by the lugs, so I don't see a big advantage to using the tripod attachment point for a strap.I paid full price for this strap and have no affiliation with the company; just a satisfied customer!

Overall, not a bad product. The build quality was first rate. However, I'm returning it for the following reasons: - the slide mechanism was a little "loose" and often didn't stay in place (basically it kept slipping looser and looser) - the shoulder strap pad *constantly* slipped off my shoulder to my back (this is the main reason i'm returning it) - no documentation (this surprised me, no instructions, no quick-start sheet, nothing) which could be an issue for novice photographersI had this attached to a mirrorless camera (Fuji X-T2 w/23mm f/2 lens) so it wasn't like there was a lot of weight on it. I also used it with the C-Loop Mini mount (definitely recommended if you're going to go this configuration).Again, the product itself isn't horrible, maybe it just didn't work out for me. Definitely make sure you can try it out and return it if necessary.

Custom is a good company and I really did not need a new strap but it looked interesting. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. It is uncomfortable, difficult to adjust and I have some doubt about the cord on the disconnects.I own many straps which are just as addictive as bags, but a direct comparison to the Peak Design is needed here. The Peak adjusts very rapidly and smoothly. The Peak is soft and more pliable. The Peak design quick release is better and the cords used are internally layered with colors to indicate wear as well as being of a material that appears to be much stronger.I would not recommend this strap to any one who I know could afford better

Another great product from CustomSLR. I used this with my point-n-shoot canon g16 and it worked like a charm on vacation.I did not purchase with the mini c-loop and I found that for my purposes the mini c-loop was not necessary. Great design and great functionality. Definetly worth it especially if your on vacation.

The strap was very short. Although it looks longer onlin, I believe. It would be good for someone shorter, perhaps.

Makes carrying around my XT1 super easy. Especially when biking.
