Keep Your Cartridges Full & Free From Disposal!
Being a college student and needing plenty of paper documents to print out essays for classes, I found this product order to be the best of its kind!I have managed to get my hands on a hand me down All in one HP printer 1410v. Now this printer is nothing fancy and is actually quite old but it seems to have been satisfying the previous owner. When I got my hands on it and put it to the test, results were rather ugly. The ink was only printing in black and to top it off, the color was nearly fade. I was nearly going to abandon ship for the printer when I discovered how expensive the cartridges are!Lucky for me, the power of the internet is at use and with a little research, anything can be accomplished. I discovered this product on Amazon and figured why not. Thanks to the help of other Amazon reviewers, I was able to locate the refill holes on top of my printer cartridge and slowly refill each hole with the correct ink color. Too fast and the hole will overflow but too slow and it could take too much time to refill for an "impatient" person. The process was messy and not the cleanest but taking your time in the procedure will result with the most outcome satisfaction! After refilling each hole with about 5ml of ink, I cleaned up the area and placed the cartridge back in the printer for testing. First test page came out with rich black colors! Superior success! Then I printed something in color. This is when things went bad. Color was looking as bad as it did to begin with before the refilling process. I wondered why?!Strolling through Amazon reviewers, I discovered that ink cartridges eventually dry and the holes in the ink jets usually "clog" from dry ink. I never knew such a thing could happen but it made sense! I then wondered how I can go about to fix this issue? Answers were constantly brought back to every question I had and discovered that the process to fix the clogged ink holes required a hit or miss attempt.Simply place your ink cartridge in a small container filled with boiling water and repeat the process about 5 times for 5-10 sec each time. After the 4th attempt, the color of the water was seeping red, yellow, and blue and mixing together causing the water to form an ugly purple black.I then soaked the cartridge into rubbing alcohol for a few minutes and ended the process by letting the cartridge dry. Final results came up with beautiful color printing and original black colors. All was well and I have no complains. Takes time, research, and confidence. These 3 elements can bring one to achieve nearly anything!Highly recommend this product. I feel it may last me for my entire 4 years in college if anything! Savings on ink will be more than I could ever be happy for being at least $1G!

So much cheaper than OEM ink
I have been using the Stratitec Ink to refill cartridges for my Canon Pro 9000 Mark II printer for years now. I got tired of paying the ridiculous prices for the brand name cartridges, which value the ink at over $5000 per gallon. I keep enough cartridges on hand so that I collect empties, then do a mass refilling of 20 or so at a time. I print color photo enlargements on high quality phot paper, and my experience has been that if you use good paper, this ink gives great results. People love the prints I make for them.

Good Ink / Bad Instructions
I've been using this ink now for about two months in a Canon MP 970. It appears to provide photo-prints on 4" x 6" Canon paper as good as the Canon Ink. I haven't yet noticed any fading or smearing or other problems. However, I did have problems with the instructions that were provided. The instructions directed me to drill a hole on top of the cartridge in a really bad location. On top of the ink cartridge towards the front, usually hidden under a paper tag, there is already a small fill hole with a little rubber ball seated in it that acts sort of like a one way valve. It is hidden from view by paper stickers & tags on the cartridge. I've seen some ink replacement kits that sell you replacement rubber balls so that you can use the existing fill hole rather than drilling a new one. However, this kit directs you to simply drill a new hole and insert a rubber plug when your through filling the cartridge with ink.The instructions, through the pictures, directed me to drill right on or on the edge of this pre-existing hole. However, this is a bad place to drill, because after filling the cartridge with ink, you need to insert a little rubber plug & create a tight seal in the newly made hole. If you drill at the site of the old hole or on the edge of the old hole, you end up with a mess. Disregard the instructions and drill the new fill-hole more towards the top front of the cartridge and well away from the edge of the old fill hole. You need a cleanly drilled hole that doesn't contact any other part of the cartridge mechanisms. This allows the new rubber plug to insert tightly and correctly to seal the hole after you've filled the cartridge with ink. Like a cork in a bottle. If you don't have good seal on the new fill hole, the ink just pours out of the bottom of the cartridge. You can loose a lot of expensive ink in just a 1/2 second. I had to use a glue gun to seal up the messed up fill holes on the first two cartridges I worked on. This problem could have been avoided with clear instructions.

Dont buy from this people!!!!!!!!!
I purchased the Stratitec Inkjet Ink Refill Kit Model number: EIR595, as it is described in their product specs, and I got "Nano Digital" ink , some syringes, and real needles that look like something you get from a drug dealer! I have purchased the Stratitec kit before and this IS NOT it, not even close. Im very mad, and frustrated because I needed this asap, and that's why I paid extra money for faster shiping but thats not all, after I tried to explain them that this is not what they advertise, I got an e-mail from them with this "if you like order a Stratitec kit, you need go to Stratitec kit store. Thank. Dinsink" I mean what is that???

Just what a student needs
I am a student and print a lot. I was always have to go out and spend money on new cartridges. This is going to save me lots. Plus it was so easy to use. The only draw back I have is that it didn't come with instructions. Having never done a refill before, I had to look up on-line how to do it. But, still easier than I thought it was going to be. I love this product and will probably buy it again when I run out.
