Eveready LED Flashlights

LEDs make these super bright, super-light, and long battery life. They only need 1 AA battery for the small ones and 1 D cell for the larger ones. They focus at all distances, from close-up to far away without the twisting required of the old MagLites. With the included batteries, they cost almost nothing over the usual price of the batteries alone. I keep them all over the house, in the shop and car. The small ones are so light and small they're perfect for having in your pocket when walking at night. They don't work as well as a weapon than the old big MagLites, though.

I cannot judge whether these are the sort of flashlights which one might use for emergency repairs or construction - but they are exactly suited to my needs. I live in a flat, and need flashlights for the occasional power failure, or for when (as happened today) I needed a smoke detector battery replaced in a dark hallway. I live in a basement - without electric lighting, my kitchen and bathroom are pitch dark in broad daylight, if the power fails. I tried both the small and large flashlights in my unlighted bedroom, and both had ample coverage - more than I expected. I cannot vouch for that one could perform surgery or repair a furnace with such light, but it was wonderful to see that there was a wide, bright beam of light, sufficient for me to use to get between rooms in the dark. I was fortunate to obtain these with the 10% discount, and with some Amazon points, so four flashlights for an excellent price was a bargain, the more since the batteries are included. I am hoping I can leave the batteries in without their wearing out, since my times of needing a flashlight are unexpected. With one in my night table, another in a kitchen drawer, and small ones in the sitting room and bathroom, I have everything I need to get about if there is an interruption in power.

The four flashlights are so lightweight, cheaply made, yet they shine a very bright light. I bought them for my hurricane kit. Hopefully, I won't need them. But if by chance I do, the light is very good. The flashlights came with batteries, which is almost unheard of. All of those batteries work. I worry about their durability, and how long they will last, I hope for the whole season. The price is great for 4 working flashlights w/ batteries. I added a star for the brightness of the light but took a star away for the packaging. The plastic separated from the cardboard, and batteries were out of the original package and banging around inside the outside packaging.

These are really good basic, dependable, nothing fancy, flashlights. The light is bright and they have a sturdy, raised on/off button that you can easily find in the dark. Another thing I like is they have a piece that sticks out just enough to keep them from rolling away when you lay them on their side. The lamp is LED so the batteries last a long time.

Always good to have access to emergency lighting throughout house

I got these to stow away around my house because in California we are having rolling blackouts. A four pack for this price with batteries included is a really great deal. They are decently bright. It’s nice that batteries come with it although I cannot attest to battery life longevity just yet. What’s nice is the batteries are not hard to replace with regular Duracell’s because they are usual size and not different lithium sized. They do feel quite lightweight. The plastic seems very thin so it is def not one of those high grade Heavy duty military type flashlights. I just got these for my house so they work perfectly for that! I do wish the material was glow in the dark so that it would be easy to locate the flashlights in the dark but that’s just a convenience I think that would be nice for future models. I’ll settle for taping them w some glow in the dark neon tape. Awesome cheap buy all in all

Great value...I prefer this over the led ones...regular back in the day flashlights...2 smaller and two larger...batteries included...work great and put one in each room...no more searching...definitely a good buy.

For some reason, Amazon fulfillment thought this was ok to ship in poly mailer by itself. Parts were all loose in the bag upon receipt. However, everything worked after reassembly.

For the cost of these they have a lot of pros: - Not too bright for long distances but bright enough for anything you’re doing right in front of you. Up close tasks you might even squint! Using 2 of them tail standing with a white ceiling would get you by in a power outage for many full evenings of dim room light. See the pictures I took with 1 on and then 2 on pointed to the ceiling. - They have a decent beam pattern that doesn't have any artifacts. The hot spot is slightly blueish which is doesn't show up on my pictures and the overall tint is a neutral white, it’s not bad. - With 1 mode there is not much to go wrong like a multi-mode flashlight with more complex electronics. - They have stands on the side of the body so these flashlights can be placed on their sides and pointed towards something you’re working on. See the picture of them laying on my desk. They are stable and won’t roll around. - They are light weight and plastic so they can likely fall on the ground without damaging easily. - Battery life is incredibly good. AA version says 30 hours run time on the package and the D version is 60 hours. - The AA version and D versions have identical brightness and beam profile. I've dropped expensive aluminum flashlights and since they are heavy and no give with the aluminum they can scuff and electronics break easy. Also terrible battery life of only an hour with most 1000 lumen and higher settings on high performance flashlights. I think these plastic Eveready flashlights have a good practical use especially for the price. -

Very easy to use and light is very bright.

Sin complicaciones solo prendes y apagas, nada de 4 o 5 modos, iluminan un campo amplio y a una buena distancia. Las pilas alcalinas le duran un muy buen tiempo.
