3M Temflex Rubber Splicing Tape 2155, 3/4 in x 22 ft, Black, 1 Roll

This high quality flexible tape really impressed me. I used it to complete a repair on my 2004 BMW 330ci. A bundle of wires from the trunk to the trunk lid needed repair. This required slicing the black rubber boot open to access the wires. The 3M Temflex Rubbing Splicing Tape was a great repair solution for the black corrugated sleeve covering the wire bundle. The self adhesive feature is activated when the tape is stretched. It was pliable enough to conform to the ripples and provide a good seal. The pictures show the repair in progress and completed. I'm confident with this choice and recommend it.

This is good fusing tape and after years of reviewing Amazon products I've decided to stop giving so many 5-star reviews. This tape works great when stretched and adheres to itself well just like it should. It's thick and didn't break easily in the few times I've used it so far on my trailer. The only thing is that when hanging up in the shop, the tape doesn't stay stuck to the roll, so it might get dirt under the last inch or so. Otherwise it's great.

Great for sealing/weatherproofing antenna coax connectors. It forms around the connector and seals much better than electrical tape. I wish I had this 20 years ago. But you must put a layer of electrical tape over it, to protect it from the sun. I have both the 3/4inch and 1/1/2inch wide tapes.

This stuff is worth it's weight in gold, it's really something every electrician or serious DIY's should always have on hand. Sure, you don't normally use this every day, but when you need, well, you need it and probably ASAP to help wrap up a job. Really thick, bonds to itself extremely well, I just can't imagine anything working better than this quality 3M product.

From repeated experience, unless you can absolutely confirm you need self-fusing SILICONE tape for your application, DO NOT buy it. This self fusing splicing tape provides the performance you would hope for. I've tried several different self-fusing rubber/silicone products over the years, this is the only one that has worked and I've bought multiple times.

This stuff if you ise it right is fantastic. The wire has to be extremely clean .you have to use this stuff in small pieces 3 to 4 inches max the trick is to stretch it after you peal off the white liner then wrap it around your wires tight over lapping each wrap by half I usally hit it with a heat gun set on low about 18 inches away .and it works great also make sure you put the side that you peal the liner off on wire if you do ot backwards it will not hold I wipe down wires first with rubbing alcohol

Excellent tape. Tried the liquid sealant that created a complete mess, before finding this. This is a must have for Electrians. After stretching a piece, wrap, wait for a spell, it will rubberize. Waterproofing.

Super good rubber tape. I usually use magic tape but this is much higher quality and is much thicker.

Too expensive to buy but very good tape
