Why???** A: If you read the ingredients it is scented with lemon, fir, and lemongrass not with lemon verbena. Fir often has a chemical scent to some people especially when combined with other scents. I disliked this soap when I first bought it but after a week the scent grew on me and I now like it. Still not my favorite Meyer's Hand Soap scent but I like it. **Q: Is this antibacterial soap?** A: Soap that is used properly removes bacteria. It does not need to have antibacterial chemicals, added, to remove bacteria.
