Quality and Functional Product. Well designed and Sturdy
Metal heatsink is functional, with a thermal pad included inside to wick heat from your M.2 SSD. The main body and latch mechanism is made from plastic but I've no concerns at all regarding quality. The plastic appears to be used in the right places for the price point without compromising functionality. 20cm USB-C to USB-C cable is included (but no USB-A adapter, so just a heads up). Really simple but good design that allows for really easy opening and closing without tools. It's really convenient if you want to swap out the SSD (like I was looking for). This is capable of accepting multiple formats of M.2 ssd as well as multiple lengths. The SSD is secured with a plastic turn-tab, maintaining the toolless approach to this design

Good enclosure with a major problem ... for a Crucial T500 M.2 with a heatsink attached
External Aluminium M2 NVMe enclosure. Well as usual I didn't check all the detail preferring to just plough in there and purchase this enclosure based on the favourable reviews listed here. I have no problem with this enclosure its very solid. It has its own internal heatsink strip (very thin) so standard M2 NVMe drives will not excessively overheat. It shuts down nice and tight and all in all i think that it is a very good buy, not that I am in any way shape or form a computer geek or computer savvy. However I do know about image backups and cloning which I have been undertaking for years. That's why I required a second enclosure to work alongside my existing enclosure which I had previously bought here some time ago. No its a good enclosure however my problem is that it will not accept my new Crucial 2Tb M2 drive that came with its own heatsink strip. The main moan, for me anyway, is that the new 'flavour of the month quick Crucial T500 M2 drives ... which I purchased WITH a heatsink strip attached' is to wide to go into this enclosure in the first instance. So all you computer guys out there should be aware of this fact. (see my pics for further clarification) Other than that its a solid enclosure. Its just a shame that I cannot use it for the purpose that it was initial purchased for. All IMHO of course.

Hight quality enclosure
This enclosure seems to be very well designed and constructed. It has a metal top cover which works well as a heatsink as it has a heat conducting pad on the inside which contacts the SSD. You press a button on the end and then the cover is hinged and just lifts up. The SSD is retained by a rotating lever, so there is no screw to lose. It comes with a short USB C cable, so it works out of the box. I can't find anything to criticise with this enclosure, but then Sabrent are a decent brand, so that is to be expected. I would recommend this enclosure as it is useful not only when transferring data when moving to a larger SSD, but you can use the SSD as a removable storage as well.

Reliable, fair-priced solution from Sabrent.
I do not like the physical qualities of the enclosure, it is quiet simple and not fascinating to operate. But I can see why they did that. It is a square, hinged and clipped design meant to be opened and swapped out without a tool by a push of a button - which is a quality many can appreciate. It does have a few plastic parts in it's design and only time will tell how long they last. One thing I do like is that the enclosure operates at the manufacturer specified performance without a fault once again unlike many other awful Chinese enclosures, and products in general I have tried so far. My previously purchased 2.5 inch HDD enclosures from Sabrent were also reliable and worked as specified, and it is definitely a reputable brand that does not cost much, and for that it gets 5 stars. Thank you Sabrent for not wasting my time for providing a solution for a price I can appreciate.

SABRENT SSD CASE
Needed the enclosure to clone my old laptop 256Gb SSD card which was failing to a new 1Tb Blue WD SSD card - I bought both together . Quality piece of kit, precision manufacture, incredibly simple to use and fits all sizes of SSD card. I now have the old 256Gb SSD card in it and use it as an external drive - at least until it packs up. But yeah, highly recommend this enclosure. Oh! One last point I should mention is that it has a USB-C connection so make sure it will connect to your device or that you have an adaptor.

Really handy
Great little enclosure. I used it to transfer my documents from my old pc ( nvme gen.3 ) to my new one (nvme gen.4 ) after I had installed the graphics card and blocked the spare nvme port. It comes with a usb-c cable so it was pretty quick. Good build quality and worked right out of the box.

I recently purchased the SABRENT USB 3.2 10Gbps Type C Tool Free Enclosure as a way to keep my additional NVMe as a compact and fast storage device, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The tool-free design made it incredibly easy to set up and the transfer speeds are incredibly fast thanks to the USB 3.2 10Gbps technology. The compact size also makes it incredibly portable, perfect for taking my additional storage with me on the go. I highly recommend this product to anyone in need of a high-quality and reliable external storage solution. Thank you SABRENT for creating such a fantastic product!

First and foremost, it works as advertised! Just plug an M2 SSD in, close the door, connect to computer, use windows Disk Management tool, configure the SSD, DONE. Afterwards, it shows as an external drive. It's got an external aluminum body which makes it sturdy and works as a heat sink. As such, it gets warm to the touch which is to be expected. It's about 4-5/8" (11.7 cm) long and 1-1/4" (3.2 cm) width and 1/2" (1.2 cm) thick, so it's very small and portable, and so MUCH more convenient than a common USB memory stick. It comes with a small USB-C to USB-C cable. Tested on my HP laptop with USB 3, I get 523 MB/s sequential read speed 192 MB/s write. This of course depends on so many things that it's only useful to show that it works fast. Your conditions can be much better or much worse. Be sure to use a USB 3 port for maximum speed.

Very fast and cool. I have experienced no issues with the enclosure. Easy to install the card and easy to use. I especially liked the design with the flip up lid to access the enclosure. This means that the case is able to have good contact between the drive and the thermal pad to allow heat transfer. Other cases with slide on covers will not be able to get good contact leading to potential overheating. (One of the main reasons I went with this product over others)
