HarperCollins Everything: Ancient Egypt

I got this for an eight year old girls birthday, she is really interested in Ancient Egypt so I knew she'd like this. I've bought many kids national geographic books over the years and not one has been a disappointment, they are filled with facts and pictures and are great at engaging kids. They are a bit of a cross between a book and a magazine, the paper used is magazine paper but this doesn't impact on anything. I love these books and would definitely recommend them.

As expected with national geographic, this book is fact heavy and educational whilst pictures are engaging for kids. My 7 year old loves it.

I bought this book for my grandchildren 7&8 because they are learning about Egypt in school. It has helped them a lot.

not much to add to the title. beautiful photos, very vivid colours, highly attractive for a 6 year old who is doing ancient egypt in kindergarten. excellent value. inspiring for little minds!maybe could have been more text, but for 6 pounds i am delighted

This is a gorgeous children’s book. High quality photos, great cartoons and illustrations. Enough information to teach what kids (and adults) want to know about Egypt, without overloading on detail. Excellent as always National Geographic!Would suggest suitable for 6+ years
