Bought for my mom, installed in under 15 minutes at I am not the most mechanically inclined person .. actually im not mechanically inclined at all. extremely simple instructions to follow and install. you don't need to be strong or tall etc to put together, however a 2nd hand would help.Craftsmanship is 4/5 stars. It works great, and serves its' purpose just as it is supposed to. Have had it 2 months without issues. Nothing broken upon opening and nothing broke during installation.*DON'T LISTEN TO NEGATIVE REVIEWS; THIS IS A GREAT SPACE-SAVING PRODUCT THAT IS VERY INEXPENSIVE, EASY TO PUT TOGETHER AND ALL AROUND WAS A GREAT PURCHASE. IF YOU ARE EXPECTING SOMETHING THAT IS GOING TO WITHSTAND HURRICANE FORCE WINDS, OR IF YOU HAVE IMPATIENT HANDS AND TRY TO FORCE 2 PIECES TOGETHER THAT DON'T GO TOGETHER THEN YOU MAY WANT TO LOOK INTO HAVING SOMETHING MADE TO ORDER BY A CARPENTER FOR YOUR CLOSET. OTHERWISE, THIS $30 WILL BE THE BEST INVESTMENT YOU CAN MAKE FOR YOUR CLOSET FOR THE PRICE.

Saved my closet! Best organizing bang for your buck. I had been looking at this model for a while on Wayfair but was overpriced for what it was so for months it sat there in my shopping cart. Thank goodness for competitive pricing on Amazon! Would've never paid more than what I bought it for here.So tired of cheaply made, outsourced products that are way overpriced for US consumers to justify the expense. Was actually cheaper on Walmart.com I think, but I didn't want to start yet another account to be spammed with promotions.This is a flexible setup and can work well in walk-ins too, I imagine. Uses the top bar in your closet or a wired closet shelf. 2 ways to clasp it on and reversible. Bottom bar can handle my long, heavy skirts and many pants on the same hanger; also height adjustable. Great for a temporary fix or long term. Been using mine for months now with zero issues!

One cracked shelf, but easy to assemble. The instructions could be more clear. For those who are buying, make sure you put the twist and lock indentation on the bottom poles facing up, so you can lock with the middle pole. This is something that is not clearly indicated on the instructions. This is the perfect solution to give you a shoe rack and second hanging rack for almost nothing. I wish the second hanging rod was a solid metal or wooden pole. Because it is hollow, it does not support heavy garments. It might support 5-10 lbs. You try to put anymore, it will bend.If you have long garments (XL or larger), you may be challenged to get adequate height on your second hanging rack. I have large shirts on the top rack, so I was able to hanging slacks on the second rack. My shirts would be touching the floor if I were to hang them on the second rack.I'm considering a different solution if I want a second rack for heavier things, such as jeans, dockers, or sweatshirts.

Good concept, just not well executed. It does give more storage space, but its not sturdy. The rods do not tighten enough and the bottom moves around. On top of that, when I'm putting clothes in and if I accidentally move the rod, the bars to the shoe section come out. Its sooooo frustrating and a hassle to put back together 12 bars! I'm thinking of putting crazy glue in the ends of the bar. Hopefully this will eliminate the problem. Whitmor needs to fix this issue.Update...It's been a year since I purchased this item. About 4 months after getting this, the bottom rod for the clothes broke off. I tried working with the shoe rack portion and finally gave up. The bars for the shoes kept coming out. Into the garbage this went. I've purchased inexpensive hanging rods that have worked a lot better than this system. What a waste of money.

I love these closet organizers! Great value for a great price. Once they are locked in the closet they are super sturdy, and I like how the top piece jusg clips onto the existing hanging bar. It is perfect for my apartment (can’t have nails in the wall)Overall it was easy to put together! Make sure to read the instructions. The first one took me about 15 minutes to assemble and the second one about 5 minutes. I’m very happy with my purchase!

I share a closet with my boyfriend, so I got this to keep our things organized. I have so much more space now and it looks amazing! It’s so easy to assemble, the directions are clear and it only took me like 15 minutes! It is a little wobbly when you’re inserting it into your closet but once it’s in and adjusted properly it doesn’t move! So glad I bought this

I ordered two of these closet systems for myself and my boyfriend. They are easy enough to put together but they were complete junk. Within a month of setting them up the shelves and bottom rack were constantly falling down, one of them we could never figure out how to get leveled and the other had a pole that kept coming apart any time you put weight on it. We are unfortunately past the return period or we would have returned them. They are going in the trash, I wouldn't even donate this to Goodwill!

This is such a great product at a low cost. I put one on either side of my closet and it really helped me organize my clothes more effectively. Similar products cost over three times the amount for the same effect. Great for small closets that need a double rack. I will be purchasing more for all of the closets in my home!
