Does it work like a conventional dimmer in that you can toggle on and off by pushing the face in?

Yes, the Aurora Smart Bulb Dimmer will toggle the lights on/off by pressing the face in. Then, to dim/brighten the lights, rotate the outer ring clockwise or counterclockwise.
