Great replacement for a weekender and carry-on.
Recently purchased the SOG Opord 39.1 liter pack; great bag that met my expectations! I wanted a bag to replace an REI 40l pack for a weekend trip/carry-on pack. After much research I choose SOG's Opord pack over the SOG Ninja Tactical because I wanted more internal storage and still have many of the Ninja pack's features.Biggest first impression was fit; I'm 5' 10" and an XL shirt size so the pack had to fit my torso, which it has done comfortably. Very happy with the back padding and the wide shoulder straps. Adjustable shoulder straps, sternum strap, and compression straps to narrow the profile of the bag. I'm really happy that the hip belt that can be stowed away if not needed. That is one thing I don't care for in modern hiking day-packs, a hip belt that can't be stashed away. A nice little design feature from SOG on this pack. The pack feels very sturdy and durable. I can fit a 15" laptop, power supply, cables and accessories, toiletry bag and a couple of travel cubes in this pack; and it carries the weight well. I'm not sure what kind of poly material the pack is made of, but it is thicker than a hiking day-pack. That does add a little weight to the bag but I feel it is a good trade off will be more resistant tears and punctures.Another great feature are the SOG branded zipper pulls, they are big and easy to grip. Lots of pockets and compression straps. Personally I like the zippers on the side pockets, I can zip it for secure item storage or a dump pouch. A deep internal mesh pocket inside the main storage area is another smart feature. My personal mod, I am going to add web dominators for strap management. For the price of this pack, I got a lot of value and features! At the time of this review I paid $33.25 and I feel it was a great deal! I am very happy with this pack and looking forward to put it through a lot of miles of travel.tl;dr - Great price for all the features in the pack, comfortable fit, good construction, small and well designed features.

Great pack for get home applications, day hiking
I bought this pack because I am a gear addict and it was $33. Plus, SOG is a home town company and I know the owner and I love to support a great company. That said, I was totally surprised on the quality of this pack. I was expecting a basic pack with a logo I like so I took a chance. After I received it I immediately ordered 2 more for that price ($33). I would honestly pay more for these packs and would love one in multi-cam or olive. The pack has plenty of storage. There are some good reviews on YouTube. It has all the features I want in a pack for my "get home" application or day hiking. The only draw back for the pack I have found is that it is a bit heavier than my other get home bag. This is due to the fact that the material is heavier weight and likely more durable. I think this weighs in just over 4 lbs which is totally acceptable to me. I am a bigger guy so .5-1 lbs of weight doesn't change my mind much. The pack is very comfortable to wear and it fits big guy frames. I would totally recommend this pack and will likely by a few more for gifts to my outdoor friends.

Great pack for hiking, fly fishing and carrying a 13lb YorkiePoo
Owned this pack for about 3 years now and as title states, it's been a great pack. It has lots of room and great storage compartments of various sizes. There's a pocket or space for many different size items. Never used with water bladder. But the zippers have all survived some pretty rough use. No part of the pack has ever failed, no broken straps, never had one pull from seems. Very versatile and well made.

Great pack . Great price
I purchased this pack specifically for scouting PA whitetails. I have scout/ hiked for the past 6 months with this pack at least twice a week. The pack has held up without any flaws. This thing is adjustible in everyway and very comfortable even with a heavy load to haul. The molle web is great for adding additional accessories. I have added a few from Onetigris and dyj such as pistol holster, knife pouch, water carrier,. It is big enough to haul everything you need inside of it or strap it to the outside. This thing made scouting and putting out trail cam set-up alot more convenient and was perfect when it came time to start bringing in the treestands. In my opinion best pack without breaking the bank.

Solid pack.
Overall it's a very solid pack, able to fit majority of my gear in it. Loaded down it's also fairly comfortable got caught in the rain last week with the pack kept the contents dry for the most part until a pack cover was needed. Would for sure recommend for a day pack and could easily be used for a few nights stay if needed.

Great pack for the price.
Fantastic. Took it out for a little five mile hike yesterday. I kept a pretty fast pace going up and down the hills in our local mountains. Not only was it super comfortable but the waist and chest straps didn't dig into my body. Of course a lot of this depends on user adjustment, but with this pack it was like hiking with a pillow. I had a good amount of water inside along with a one-man tent and a large cowboy poncho, and the pack handled it no problem. Also, the quick carry strap/grip on the top is built directly into the pack and does not come out on the shoulder straps. Last daypack I had was built that way and even during just a quick one mile hike they dug into the back of my neck with a fury. Not the Orpod. Straps didn't dig and it felt great. Plus the ventilation ports on the inside back of the pack kept my back decently dry and breathable. 10/10 would buy again, but I doubt seeing this thing fall apart any time soon.
