The HALO SleepSack Swaddle replaces loose blankets in the crib that can cover your baby’s face and interfere with breathing. In addition to helping your baby sleep safer, it helps him sleep better, too. Its adjustable swaddle wrap immobilizes your baby's arms to prevent the "Moro" or startle reflex. And, it is the only 3-way adjustable swaddle that adjusts to your baby’s sleep style. Swaddle arms in, hands-to-face, one or both arms out to ensure baby’s best sleep and an easy and gentle transition to the SleepSack wearable blanket when it is time to stop swaddling. Used in hospitals nationwide, the Halo SleepSack Swaddle is the #1 choice of hospitals and is recognized as "Hip Healthy" by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. Its strong adjustable fasteners ensure a perfect fit and resist breakouts for more secure swaddling. Plus, its innovative zipper, unzips from the bottom allowing your baby to stay swaddled for easy diaper changes. HALO also proudly supports non-profit organizations like First Candle/SIDS Alliance.Made from two layers of 100% cotton muslin fabric, the layers of sleepsack and swaddle provide a TOG rating of 1.5, offering just the right comfort for moderate seasons or climates, and can be layered with warmer sleepwear for cooler temperatures. It is exceptionally breathable for optimal airflow, reducing your baby's risk of overheating and ensuring comfortable sleep. Plus, it is ultra-soft and features a durable weave that gets softer and maintains its original shape with each wash and wear. Size Small is designed to fit babies weighing between 13 and 18 pounds, who are generally 3 to 6 months old and 23 to 26 inches long. Discontinue swaddling when the baby shows signs of rolling over or breaking out of the swaddle wrap.

Think twice about price, excellent value for your money
*EDIT* Update. This sleepsack has barely survived 5 washes on delicate. I'm just here to warn anyone who buys it to place it in a garment bag for washing! I wish I would have known, as now it is falling apart in the back right where the wrap is sewn into the back or the body. I have to get rid of it because now it's dangerous to have my baby in. Hopefully this tip helps future purchasers extend the life of their muslin Halo and avoid needing to spend even more. Remember: Garment bag!!I’ve trusted Halo sleep swaddles since we received one from the hospital when our baby girl was born. She’s always had her best night’s sleep in it and was always easy to nurse straight to sleep in it. The size we had was a NB and now she’s 2 and a half months old, 12.5 lbs and 23.5” long so it was time for one size up as her feet reached the end of the sack in the NB size. I knew 100% that I wanted another Halo for her, but was worried about her overheating in the summer until I found out that they made Sleep swaddles made out of cotton muslin! It’s beautiful (much more aesthetically pleasing than the basic one we got from the hospital) and I couldn’t have asked to find a better buy for our little lass. Long live Halo!

Larger than expected
This has a bigger torso section than I was anticipating.Wish it was a bit snugger to help my long skinny baby transition from the newborn size to the small size. Just have to put it on the shelf for a few more weeks and try again.

Disappointed
Seemed like a sleeper that could evolve with her as she grows and changes but Her arms come out of the Velcro swaddle, too much leg room in my opinion which leaves her more space to kick and wake herself Back up. Not a very soft fabric. Zipper is not the easiest sometimes. Used for 2-3 weeks and went back to Muslim blanket to swaddle her

Lighter option but not designed as well as cotton counterpart
The muslin sleep sack is not as good as the cotton version but I bought it because I needed a lighter option for the hot summer months and we don't have AC. Pretty print, very soft after washing (be careful to velcro the wings and turn inside out to prevent it from fraying), nice light muslin. I haven't held it up to my cotton version but it seems the wings are shorter and I feel like it doesn't wrap as snugly around my baby and she wiggles her arms out of it easier.

These are great products. The swaddle keeps my baby girl confortable
These are great products. The swaddle keeps my baby girl confortable, feeling safe and warm. She is now rolling over, so we arent comfortable using them any more. It is very important to allow them to use their arms at that point, so they can push off if they are unable to breathe.

Perfect weight for summer, but stiff material
I was excited to get this sleep sack because it was the perfect weight. Unfortunately, the material was not soft! It was on the stiff side. So, although the weight was perfect for the nights, it seemed so uncomfortable because of the stiffness, so I’ve found myself not using it that much.
