It has landing gear which is retractable, containing 3 wheels. Putting it together is sort of obnoxious, pieces keep falling off as you're applying other pieces of the plane so you constantly have to hold other pieces while applying MORE pieces. Overall, kind of frustrating to put together, but still a worthwhile set. I like to know if it's going to be a physically large item, when completed, or not. My pics will show you the measurements. It's about 7 inches from nose to tail and 7 inches side to side. It would make a good gift, especially as a gift from one kid to another. Just the right price for that. I got this for my 5 year old after he earned his "good kid" points, and I'll tell you, he cannot put it down. It's been a week now and for $19, it's brought him so much joy and given me some me time! Yay! You or your kid will love this.
