Perfect flow
My 2-month-old needed these #0. Honestly, I don't even know why the Avent bottles come with the standard #1 nipple. The flow of the #0 is perfect and allows my baby to have a lot more control over how much he takes in before each swallow. I wish I had these when he was newborn. I think he'll probably still use these for quite a while before retransitioning to #1. Only downside is the limited quantity we can buy. Parents who exclusively bottle-feed know how many bottles a baby goes through in a day.

Great for preemies!
I absolutely love these avent bottles! The size 0 nipple's flow rate were perfect for my preemie. Being at the NICU, one of the things we have to do is teach the premature babies to bottle feed. After weeks of trying with the Dr. Brown's bottles with their preemie nipple, he still wasn't getting the hang of it.. Then the occupational therapist recommended that we try the Avent bottles with the size 0 nipples and thank God he finally finished a full bottle! The size 0 nipples were what he went home with. And it was super easy to find! They had it at Walmart & on amazon! The shipping was super fast! definitely reccommend.
