Easy to record, loud and long lasting. Way better than build a bear recordings. We made our own version of build a bear with these except these still work and the actual build a bear one ran out of batteries. Definitely worth the buy.

This little speaker is amazing! My kids great grandma passed and we ordered those bears that had a speaker inside. Well those speakers were terrible. So after returning the bear and getting a new one, and that speaker going out. We looked into this. I'm so glad we did. Bc this speaker is loud and clear. My kids can squeeze the bear and hear her perfectly. Will be ordering another very soon for my other son's bear. I love that they cant accidentally erase the message too. Bc that did happen with the bears speaker. So knowing they won't ever mess this one up is great. Thank you for having such a wonderful speaker. It is very much appreciated.

So easy to set up, instructions clear and simple. Honestly a great present on a budget and more personalized depending on what you decide to put it in vs an ordinary build a bear.

It’s pretty easy to set up. The only thing I didn’t like about it is that it’s pretty sensitive… or it could be user error. Either way it’s still a really nice product for plushies

I use these recorders to trick the telemarketers and scammers that call by playing a recording of the disconnected phone message when I pick up, thus having them remove me from their list of active numbers by making them believe my number has been disconnected. I first bought a more traditional recorder to do this since I thought it would have better audio quality but it would take too long for the device to turn on when I would receive a call and by the time I was ready to play the message the caller had already hung up. So I decided to try something like this where I just need to press one button to get the recording to play immediately. Also, the heart design was too cute to pass up. The few times (maybe once or twice) I managed to trick a telemarketer with the more traditional audio recorder, they hung up almost immediately. When I use this item, however, sometimes they hang up immediately and sometimes they stay on the line for much longer, about 20 seconds. I’m not sure if it’s because the audio that plays on this recorder is not as good and therefore probably doesn’t trick the telemarketer, or if it depends on how long it takes for you to pick up and have the recording ready. Still, I do seem to be getting less calls, so it does seem to be working especially since I have this recorder ready to play on my nightstand. Another thing I really like is you can stop the recording by pressing the button again. So I don’t have to sit there listening to 30 seconds of the disconnected phone message after the telemarketer has already hung up or if I accidentally press the device. Whatever you buy this item for, the instructions are easy to follow, this item came with batteries, it likely works for the purpose it was actually built for, and seems to have a great second use if you buy more than one. These are all great features that make the item earn its 5 stars in my book.

I bought this to do some minor surgery on an old build a bear I had. (20 years old so.. it stooped working a couple of years ago but I cant fault bab that is a long time for the original to last) Their voice boxes are not reusable so I had to replace it but was able to record the same thing anyway. I LOVE that the batteries are replaceable on this, that you can record and re record messages, that you can play whatever the recording is, or stop playback if you've set if off by accident. It's a really good voice box. I'm not 100% sure if you can change the batteries without erasing the message.... that's the only thing I didn't personally test, but it does have a function to lock the message so I'm about 95% sure you CAN change the batteries without losing the recording (important if you are using this to record a message of a loved one) this thing is totally worth it if you're trying to customize a stuffed animal for someone or yourself. It's a little clunky in size (I had to give my stuffed cat a pretty thorough crotch disassembly to get it in there...) the bab voice box was much smaller. But it's worth it if you have the sewing skills to stitch them back up after. Definetly would buy this again if I need to do another stuffed animal.

Build-a-Bear wouldn't allow me to put a recording heart in a bear being shipped to Canada, so I bought this for the bear instead and it was perfect! Easy to use, good audio quality!

I recorded my cat Pronger's purr after he passed so I could cuddle a plushie and feel like he was still here. The sound goes through the plush super well and for a tiny speaker, the quality is good. It was so so easy to setup and I am happy it came with two so I can save one for a gift or back up.

I put it in a stuffed animal and it can be hard to press properly. You have to squeeze evenly/ face on which isnt always ideal when you have to feel around for it. Often only one half gets squeezed by my son and the sound glitches
