Moroccanoil Color Depositing Mask Packette, 1 Fl Oz

Great product to cover gray & enrich blonde hair while also conditioning! I'm a light/med. blond, but my roots are now white. I was coloring my hair every 4-6 weeks, either at a salon or using OTC colors. Even salon colors can damage fine hair. This wonderful product conditions & covers my roots! Yes, it washes out, but it leaves my hair healthy & shiny! I can now go 4 MONTHS w/o having to color! Because my hair grabs ash (a gray-green) I chose the warm blonde. I was concerned it might turn my hair brassy, but it's perfect! I've never before used a product that added color while improving the condition of my hair--silky soft, yet doesn't weigh down my fine hair. I thought a bit pricey, but no regrets; I highly recommend!

I have black hair with medium blonde highlights. Of course this dye (purple) did not affect my base color at all, but did a great job on my highlights! This picture was just one application, and I'm impatient, so I missed some spots. I did a second application, and it came out much brighter! (Will add pics later.)I think someone with my hair length (right below shoulders) can get 2-4 uses out of the bottle depending on how much you saturate your hair. I've done my full head twice and think I have enough for one more application, or at least some touchups.Update: I added a picture of the lilac after doing a second application. What I found works best for me is to wash my hair, apply this conditioner, and let it sit for about 30 min before rinsing for the best color payoff. I also tried Pink and Bordeaux, and added pictures of that.Out of curiosity, I tried the Blue and Rose Gold as well. The Rose Gold didn't work at all, and the Blue turned my highlights green. If you have naturally dark hair like me, I recommend to stay away from those colors unless your hair is bleached nearly platinum blonde.It took about 3-4 weeks for the color to fully wash out of my hair each time, but started getting lighter and patchy after about two weeks.

At 67 and over a year into the COVID-19 pandemic full of Zoom meetings, I needed a lift, a shift. And in this case, it's name is Lavender Morrocanoil Color Depositing Mask. It's delightful. It leaves my hair so soft and smells lovely. The color lasts about a week with a regular shampoo/conditioner in between. My hair is virgin all white with an undercut bob. Leaving the mask on longer is necessary for me and I have left it on for a minimum of 30mins and a maximum of 60mins.I will buy again and have recommended it to friends & family. Onward with CHEERS.

I’ve used a lot of the temporary color depositing products, including manic panic, drop it, color lux, keracolor klenditioner, just to name a few.. This one is BY FAR the best result I’ve had.. the color is very even, it’s easy to apply, did not stain skin. The conditioning was average, subpar compared to colorlux or keracolor- after application, hair was similar to a regular daily deep conditioner. I will absolutely be trying this product in the other colors!!!For reference, I applied to dry hair, left for approximately 40 minutes, then rinsed with water.

My hair stylist recommended this as an alternative after I struck out with another product. I’m learning that just because I have light hair, color isn’t going to take. I would have to bleach my hair or do some kind of treatment to open up the cuticle of my hair. So if you’re looking for something like a glaze this isn’t it unfortunately. I ended up putting it on dry hair and leaving it for over an hour to get any color after two failed attempts following the instructions. Scary but that’s all that worked and it didn’t fry my hair so that was a relief.

This was the first time I've ever died my hair. I bought this mask to keep my color and hair soft. I was so impressed by what it does. I've had my purple hair for 3 months without ever going back to refresh the color at the salon. Each time I washed with this mask my coworkers and friends thought I had dyed my hair again - that's how new and fresh it looks. I never leave reviews, but I had to for this product. I am now going to buy the blue as I'm dyeing my hair blue now.

I’ve used this product in rose gold, hibiscus, and lilac now and have liked all 3. The first picture on the top left is my hair color without the mask. The color takes really well on the highlighted portions of my hair and virtually doesn’t take at all on my dark blonde/light brown roots but I expected this. The rose gold washed out completely in about 3 washes. The hibiscus seemed to stick around forever- probably 6-8 washes for me. Hibiscus has been my least favorite of the 3 so far- it was just a little more of a red pink than I was hoping for. I may mix it with one of the other colors next time. I just did the lilac today so I can’t speak to how many washes it lasts but I like it so far! Each time I left it on for 7-10 minutes but it takes a while to get it all over so wherever you start will get the most solid color. I started on the top of my hair this last time and that seemed to work well.
