DC Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Compatible with iMac MacBook Windows Computer and Android Tablets

I bought this keyboard for my old iMac I use as a backup computer. This was one of very few inexpensive ones that actually has Apple keyboard layout and is wireless. The nice thing about this keyboard is that there's really no setup required: plug in the USB knob, insert batteries - finished! It worth pointing out that Mac will treat it as a USB keyboard and mouse. Both worked well. Most basic Apple keyboard shortcuts worked. You don't need Bluetooth function on the Mac to be turned on. It thus seems that "Keyboard Setup Assistant" will not recognize the keyboard. However, you can still use System Settings to done few tuneups. Strangely the keyboard requires 2 AAA batteries and mouse requires 1AA battery. I wish both would need same batteries. There's no power button on a keyboard but instruction manual (full of typographical and grammatical errors!) states that it turns off after 2 minutes of non-use. Overall, good product for the money if you don't want to spend your weekly salary buying Apple Brand Keyboard.

They were very easy to work with and the replacement product came promptly.The replacement product addressed all of my concerns with the original product:- The keyboard was not bent, so it sat flush on my table and did not move around when I typed.- All the top row buttons work (volume, brightness, etc.).- The keyboard included crevices on both the F and J button to help with positioning my fingers for typing.- The keyboard paired and worked perfectly for my 2017 MacBook Pro 15 in.* ORIGINAL REVIEW ON 10/21/2020 *Review: 3 out of 5 starsPROS:- The keyboard is the same layout as the keyboard on my 15 in macbook pro. Makes it easy to use.- The keys are responsive.- It looks clean and the silver color looks professional.CONS:-The keyboard came bent so that the middle is lower than the sides. This means the keyboard does not sit flushed on my desk (see image). I tried this with other desks and the issue is the same. The bentness also prevents the rubber anchor on the corner from kaing contact with the desk. This has resulted in the keyboard sliding around the desk while I type.-None of the top row control buttons work. This includes the volume buttons, screen brightness buttons, etc.-Most keyboards have a two crevices on the F and J button to help you position your index finger. This keyboard only has the crevice on the F button. I had to put tape on the J button to help me position my right hand.-The keys are louder than I would prefer. Definitely louder than the keys on my macbook. If I had to rate the loudness of this keyboard compared to all other keyboards I have used on a 1 to 10 scale (10 being max loud), I would put this at a 6 out of 10.I have written to the seller and waiting to hear back about these problems.

This wireless mouse and keyboard combination is perfect for older Macs that lack Bluetooth on the motherboard. The single USB receiver is small and installation is effortless; just slide it into a USB socket. The keyboard looks and feels like an Apple wireless keyboard and the keys are organized the same way. The wireless mouse has the right look; it is not a Magic Mouse but it gets the job done with precision. Well made and reliable.

I’ve only had this now for a month or two but it works great! Looks like a Mac keyboard but just feels a bit cheaper. Works great on new iMac! I have zero complaints. If it stops working I will amend my review but for now 5 star.Also. I love that the keyboard and mouse shut themselves off after a few minutes of no use. Not sure how king it is. 5-10 minutes I assume, but with a single click of the mouse both are active again.I don’t think I’ll ever spend 4-10x the price on a Mac keyboard / mouse again. This works just peachy!

I have a Mac and I've never used a keyboard or mouse with it. I'm just faster and far more accurate on the MacBook Pro keyboard. I bought this item as I've finally decide to add monitor and thought a Mouse and Keyboard would help. Was I wrong, it's a good product, just after years of living on a laptop, it's too much time effort, which I don't have, to get accustomed to an external keyboard. That's the only reason, I only gave 3 Stars for Easy to Use. That said it's a great product If you don't want to spend an arm and a leg for an actual Apple Keyboard and Mouse.
