Can this be used for wire wrapping crystals? Making Rings also?

Yes it can. Depends on the project. Don't make jump rings out of aluminum, its too soft. You can wrap stones, pebbles, sea glass pendants easily and I would use 1.5 and higher for that. 1.5mm is 15 gauge. Anything less would be too soft for pendant structure but smaller wire like 20 gauge would be fine for weaving and binding. Be aware that aluminum is softer than copper but not as strong so can break more easily. What works well is if you get a 1.5mm or 2mm 12 gauge aluminum wire and use it for tribal style toggle or S Hook chunky clasps with a flattened hammered look. This size is also great for making springs and decorative rings. For rings, you can use 20 gauge or 15 gauge. Make some Rose rings with wire wrap technique, works well. This is casual jewelry, and not meant for wearing during sports or dishwashing, etc. More fragile.

Can I use this wire to hold 3d printed tentacles in articulated positions?

As long as they don't weigh very much, wire is flimsy.

Is this oven safe? I need to sculpt around it with polymer clay and I would have to bake the entire thing.

I would think so, since aluminum has a very high melt temperature. Try to heat slowly and check for structural strength.

Great! It’s really easy to cut and bend, but my main issue is if it’s bent too much it’ll snap, used it as a skeleton on a stop motion puppet and the knee broke. Still good!
