Yes, the cubes move smoothly. All 4 cubes move consistently. I play with them daily and my small kids do too and they are holding up very well. There is one corner on the 2x2 the splits a smidge but I think it might be because I dropped it when I got it. All I have to do it pinch it goes back perfectly. I definitely recommend these cubes.

For the last 20 years, the majority of our manufacturing was moved overseas to Asia for the sake of increasing corporate profits. In answer to your question, YES, it is made in China as our 95% of our pharmaceuticals. I look forward to bringing all our manufacturing back to the USA! Sorry this is so long but there's a specific reason it's made in China.

Q: Could I make these rubiks cubes loose or tight?

Yes. The 2x2 cube, 3x3 cube and pyraminx cube could be loosed or tighted. The skeb cube not.

Q: Does it come with instructions?

No it doesn't. I am guessing you asking for instructions to solve the cube.
