Sounds Beautiful
I love my new little guitar. I have always felt that standard size guitars are just too big for me. After not playing my steel string acoustic guitar for so long due to this, I decided to try the 1/2 size classical Yamaha, and I am so happy! It is cozy to sit on the couch playing this, and it sounds nice and rich to me. I like that it is lightweight, the action is low so I do not have to push on the strings very hard, and the quality seems very good for the price. This is a guitar I am not ashamed to play in front of others, and already my friends are asking me to play them songs on it. I consider this to be an easy-to-play guitar.

Reliable Beginner-Friendly Classical Guitar
The Yamaha Student Series CGS103AII Classical Guitar in Natural is a solid choice for beginners. It offers comfortable playability and a decent tone for its price range. While it may not have the richness of higher-end models, itโs well-built and reliable for practice and early learning. Overall, it provides good value for students starting their classical guitar journey.

Yamaha CGS-103A
The sound is very good for a beginner like me, but the workmanship is not as good since the lacquer by the sound hole is not coated equally, the neck is wavy from top to the body and the neck joint is rough. Otherwise, this is a good beginner guitar.

Love love love it!
I love the looks and feel of this guitar in my hands, very easy to play and push them strings down. I have a vintage Ventura acoustic guitar that my Dad bought me as a teen, it's hard for me to play , hard to press steel strings down, and the size is big. I have child size hands, and my fingers are smaller and shorter. This 1/2 size guitar is perfect for me! I spent an hour just playing on it, easy to tune and I love the sound. I tried an Enya carbon guitar and it was not for me, wasn't comfortable at all! This is my first Yamaha and I love it! There were a couple small perfections on finish but I don't care it's beautiful! I believe the model # is CGS102A and I got the 41" acoustic guitar padded gig bag by Faswin that came with a couple extras, it has a ton of pockets and very nice. I love this guitar, after a few decades I'm playing again!

Perfect size for younger kids
My grandsonโs guitar teacher said this is the perfect size for him. (He is 7). He also said it is a quality instrument, worth the price. My grandson is learning chords right now, and this guitar has made that process easier and more enjoyable. Highly recommend!
