Midpipe did not fit.
After waiting a few days it finally came in and I was excited. I quickly realized the midpipe did not fit into the silencer. It wasn't even close. Thought about shipping it back but didn't want to have to pay. I cut slots on the midpipe to get it to squeeze down and fit. Still had to hammer on it with a rubber mallet for about 10 min to get it fitted.

KLR Gen 1
I wanted a quiet and non-garish exhaust to replace my stock 2001 KLR Gen 1 exhuast. This was it. Sounds great, not too crazy loud and not too quiet, a nice hearty sound. I did have to cut my KLR's rear platics a little and fabricate some mounting hardware because it didn't quite fit right, but in the end it mounted up fine. I wouldn't know what exhaust to compare it to but it seemed very well built to me.

I really like the sound
I really like the sound, better than my Tweety bird stock exhaust. Not too loud. I have not had to repack yet and it's been a year. I did have to trim the fender a little but you can probably get away with not trimming.

Sounds good and seems well built
This muffler is much lighter than the stock one. It sounds better, louder but not too loud.

overall good but needs repacked often
easy to install and sounds good but you need to use the copper ultra RTV silicone on the joint otherwise hot air escapes, blows straight on your carb and will cause it to vapor lock!!
