Silicon Labs chip is much, much better!
May the goddess smile upon Silicon Labs forever and ever! I had an older model of this cable with the Prolific chip and now it's a brick, because there's no Windows 11 driver. But this one has the Silicon Labs CP210x. This is the same beautiful USB-to-UART bridge that graces my favorite ESP boards. And best of all, it has a driver that just works. If you're tired of dealing with driver issues, this is the one to get!

Excelente , buena calidad sin problemas .
Excelente calidad ,, no es plug and play, pero solo ahí que instalar el driver manualmente en caso de que no lo reconozca , lo utilize para flashear Linksys AE8500 Linksys tiene buena comunicación con el equipo.

Fonctionne à merveille.
En lisant quelques commentaires j'avais un peu peur mais c'est juste parfait.Il faut soit-dit-en-passant bien lire la notice et ne brancher la 4ème broche que si on compte alimenter le Pi uniquement par ce biais. (J'imagine que c'est une faute qui pourrait causer des dégâts si on y prête pas attention.)

Worked great! I have a WRT3200ACM that I had flashed to DD-WRT, but since that's broken as all heck right now had to get it back to stock again. Hooked this baby up, dialed up telnet and away we went!
