This cap fit perfectly with an adjustable strap for tightness or loosening. Quality made, so lightweight, great look and breathable. I initially thought the cost was a little high for what you see online but it is worth every penny, in my opinion. So lightweight and not hot; you don't even feel like you have on a cap. I am definitely buying more colors. Update: I’ve purchased the black and now the tan one. Love them.

It faded and the lettering came off within a few months .

It's good, just don't expect it to be like the Mission towels. I originally bought this hat because I was working at a big-box-hardware store where I'm mostly working outside in the heat (which is year-round where I live). I had access to a water fountain and bottles of water where I can sip and splash it on the hat when I know I'm going to be outside a little more than I expect to. So I thought the hat was going to be like the Mission brand cooling towels that I would use for drives out towards the desert or be like the gaiter which I wore pre-pandemic to cool off. No, this hat isn't quite like it. With the cooling towel I had about a solid hour until the thing would stop cooling and just recirculate the muggy heat that your body naturally generates. But this, it feels like I reached that threshold a lot sooner. That's not to say it's bad. I just think this is good if you need a constant supply of cooling needs for you like on an extensive hike or heavy cardio work outside would probably not be good if you need continuous relief. I wore this at the family pool on a particularly scorching day and would whip it into the water, ring it about and plop it back on my head. That was very refreshing, as someone who doesn't really swim in a pool and just sort of floats about. It's also great for beach days too. You just walk out to the water, give it a splash and bam, cooling. Ocean fishing is also a good location to to use this to its full potential. I guess my only issue is that this doesn't really have "form" to it and I know that is more of a product limitation than anything. If you have a lot of hair you're stuffing into the hat, people will definitely notice. That's why this is great for folks with bald, shaved, shorter hairstyles but beyond that you might be s.o.l. It's not like a traditional hat which is more rigid in construction, the only thing with "form" is the bill/brim of the hat. It's easy to clean, still has color after some brutal use, and it still surprisingly works in the context of having access to useable water. But if I had to wear this on the street, I probably would pick something else. Great for workouts, outdoorsy activities, and surprisingly work.

The quality is just amazing. I have used these hats for years working strictly outdoors and they have not become bleached. They really are worth the money and I have no complaints.

I purchased this hat because it's summer, and it's hot. I needed something to wear while trail running that would help keep me cool and to shield my eyes from the sun. I already own a few cooling towels that have the same concept as this hat: wet, wring, and place on desired area for a cooling effect. I love how the cooling towels work so it made sense for me to give this hat a try. Here's what I liked about this hat: It's lightweight, the visor is long enough to shield my eyes, and it fits my large head (though only JUST). I appreciate that the brand name isn't so conspicuous. I am not being paid to advertise brands so why would I volunteer to do it for free? I don't even like advertising expensive brand names. I just want stuff that works without feeling like a human billboard. So this hat gets a "B-" for at least not stamping a giant logo on the hat, but I would have still preferred no logo at all. Now as for the "cooling" functionality, I wasn't overly impressed if I'm being honest. The cooling fabric is just limited to the inside rim of the hat. Although the rest of the hat is thin and can also be wetted down, I really didn't experience a cooling effect that stood out. I own other lightweight hats that aren't advertised as cooling hats, but basically do the same thing. Except they become wet as a result of my profuse sweating. The addition of water is not required because my head produces more than enough of it. I fail to see how this hat differs from any other lightweight, moisture wicking athletic cap that could also, in theory, be dunked in water for the same effect. In the end they all feel the same: like you're wearing a wet hat on your head. But what I found most intolerable was the adjustable velcro strap. To be fair, most hat brands have them so it's not a problem with this hat specifically. Depending on the size of your head and length of your hair, you may never encounter an issue. Especially if you have a smaller head and can adjust the strap so that none of the velcro is exposed. But on my head, that wasn't an option. So what ended up happening is that EVERY time I would wear this, my long wavy hair would get caught in the velcro. There's no graceful way of getting hair safely out at that point. You just gotta rip it off like a bandaid. Well, I decided that my workouts were painful enough and that I didn't need to end them each time with an unceremonious hair pulling. So I came back to Amazon to search for a different hat that didn't have a velcro strap. Eventually I stumbled across a very similar hat made by Adidas that uses a buckle which is much more hair safe, and was actually cheaper than this hat. It's also a hat you can wet for a cooling effect, but honestly no hat like this is overly impressive with the cooling. I now just rely on refrigerated cooling towels to wear after my workouts to cool down.
