BobelockHalf Moon Puffy 1047P 4/4 Violin Case with Purple Exterior and Grey Interior

My daughter loves this case, and so do I. It is good quality, and I don't see it breaking anytime soon. It is very heavy though. My viola feels lighter than my daughter's violin, lol. It takes a little work to snap it, which we don't mind. All in all I would recommend it to anyone who can carry it without getting tired.

This case is absolutely perfect for my needs. I've been using a very simple case that was fine when I was just practicing at home, but it doesn't have room for my tuner, shoulder rest, spare strings, sheetmusic, or anything else besides my rosin . As I've recently started attending an Irish session I need to be able to bring those things, and I hate having to carry a purse just to stick it in. This case has plenty of room for everything and holds my fiddle securely. It feels very durable and I think it's very nice for the price. I didn't want anything too expensive, as I just have a beat-up fiddle my dad picked up years ago for $50, but I would feel safe carrying a nicer fiddle in it when I upgrade some day! Also, the color is much more saturated and vibrant than the picture suggests, which is just an added bonus.

I wish they'd made this fact clearer in the description, though I should have known from the price. Still this case is great, the shoulder rest clasp under the neck is perfect and solves the annoying problem of trying to fit a big Kun rest into a little compartment! The humistat feature is great though I can't tell how accurate it is. I was surprised to see it only go to 42 during a humid summer music festival. Even after keeping the humidifier full and wide open, it only reads 40% in the house which seems a little low, but it does keep it steady which is the most important thing. It seems a well made, well designed case--not a bargain by any means but perfectly adequate. The color is snazzy too!

Amazing case to get. But, it is heavier than a normal violin case. The quality does out shine that though and you can get use to it.

Young teen daughter requests purple violin accessories wherever possible...this is eyecatching, easy to find her instrument among many black cases (perhaps also more prone to theft?) and it's nice that this has some temperature insulation. Seems to be a good balance between protection and reasonable cost for a student.

My daughter has used this case for about 2 years. It is all in perfect working condition. In her cheaper case, if her case got knocked on something, or the weather would change, or it would have to sit in a hot or cold car for awhile, the violin would pop out of tune. In this case, her violin always keeps its tune. The string tube is great to keep the extra strings straightened out in, and there is plenty of space for rosin, shoulder rest, and music in the outside pocket. It is like a soft, cushy little bed to protect your investment. Well worth the price.
