Are Sodastream bottles compatible with this carbonator?

Yes. I had the plastic fizz soda stream which I replaced at least 3 times because of breakage. I purchased the aarke and use the carbonator and 1 liter plastic bottles from my soda stream with it.

Can you carbonate juice?

The official answer is no. It is not recommended by the manufacturer. However, many people have played around and figured out ways to make it work for juice, coffee, tea, and other liquids. You should google the specific juice you want to carbonate and see what others have done.

Does this have a hole in the bottom to connect a hose from a bigger bottle?

It utilizes a 60L carbonation container, I use the soda stream one. If the hose had the same fitting on the top, I assume it would work; but I make two liters of water a day with this machine and my current 60L bottle has lasted over 70 days so far!

Are there any glass bottles available? If not will you consider glass in the future?

I will not use glass as under its pressure and at work a glass bottle would eventually get broken.
