Nice product & well made. The only reason this isn’t a 5* is you have to remove the mount to put onto a camera stand, other than that it’s a great product & great replacement if you misplace the DJI Ronin-S mount.

Perfect plate fit for both gimbal and tripod. I use this on a DJI RS4 as well as various tripods and it's ideal.

I've been buying Smallrig products as I love the quality of their design and solutions for filmmakers. Although this one was a disastrous experience for me. I couldn't imagine I could give such low rating review to a SmallRig product. The plate doesn't fit the baseplate of my RSC-2, due probably to the locking mechanism in my gimbal being tightened too much from factory (doesn't fit due to height). Unfortunately with the product there are no instructions supplied but I've found an Allen key within the package so I assume the locking mechanism needs to be untightened a little bit on the RSC-2 to accommodate the different height from this plate. The screw on the DJI locking mechanism plate uses a 1.5mm allen key, so it's one of the smallest size available. By experience I know when working with these minuscule size the risk of stripping the head of the screw is very high and also the wrench is very thin it can bend easily when trying to unscrewing or tightening. A specific and high quality screwdriver would be a better tool when managing this hardware. Unfortunately I don't have it. I should have stopped after noticing the it wasn't going to unscrew easily, as I've ended with a stripped head screw on my DJI. This was my mistake, I should have stopped immediately after the first resistance to unscrew. I've been very careful while trying to unscrew it (I've many years of DIY experience and I know how avoid stripping a head. Keeping the key perpendicular and applying a perpendicular force to the screw and using high quality tools. The QR plate from DJI could not be fitted and I ended with a stripped screw head. I will return this product and request a refund, unfortunately. The journey to find a good solution to swap my EOS R cage on my DJI RSC2 continue. Even though the cage has Arca standard base, it doesn't fit the quick release plate of the DJI RSC2, as one of the side profile of the cage instead of having the classic Arca shape it's just straight and it doesn't slide into the QR plate, as it hits the side of the baseplate. EDIT: I contacted SmallRig which got back to me very quickly int the past days. The representative was very kind and willing to help and we are trying to find a solution. This review is more for people who needs to buy this product and they need it urgently due to an incoming shooting. Just be aware your DJI could have some incompatibility with this plate, so don't rely on this if you're on a rush and you're running out of time. I will be more than happy to change my review once we find a solution. Meanwhile I also contacted DJI about the stripped screw and they offered to send me just the replacement screw if I was able to remove the stripped one. As an alternative, if I won't be able to remove it, they offered to send me the replacement part and the cost is £25 plus tax and shipment. Think twice before stripping a screw head, it can be a very expensive replacement for just a screw! :D

I can only get it into my various manfrotto-style base plates with a struggle and not at all in some instances. SmallRig make a QR base plate for the supplied DJI plate but this is too wide for this manfrotto style plate.

Great product, but but misleading as you’d hope you can switch seamlessly between manfrotto heads and gimbal. Just doesn’t fit

Good quality, smaller than DJI Rohnin 3 Pro, but ok with Sony FX6. But better for use.

Ho una Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K e ho preso un gimbal DJI RSC2. Nel gimbal mi sono ritrovato una piastra nuova (Arca-Swiss) che DJI mette nei suoi nuovi gimbal, ma totalmente inadatta per la mia Pocket. Quindi ho preso questa piastra. Perfetta. Robusta con già le viti messe... Ora la mia Blackmagic ci sta alla grande nel Ronin SC-2

La plaque s’adapte parfaitement avec le stabilisateur et semble aussi qualitative qu’un produit d’origine. La marque est connue et donne pleinement satisfaction.

Ik wilde een snelle manier om te wisselen tussen mijn smallrig quick release videostatief en de dji gimbal, echter op het statief klikt het niet vast, er is speling. raar maar niet hoe het hoort.
