This product arrived 24 hours early ( no apologies for early delivery, but great anyway). As this is a surprise birthday present for a loved one, I am sure she will be delighted to hear these songs again, as there are now no cassette players installed in our vehicles. Love the album.

I think this is Curtis Stigers' first album - I had it on old-skool tape first and used one of the songs for our wedding dance! Just had a fancy for hearing it again as the tape is long gone! He has a fantastic soulful, gravelly voice and although he is regarded as a Jazz musician (he plays the saxophone) it can be enjoyed by anyone, whether they like Jazz or not. Personally, I don't regard it as a Jazz album, just heartfelt, soulful music, well performed and although it's old, it's still relevant and doesn't sound dated.
