Based on locos introduced in 1954 and still going strong today, the GP9M is available decorated in a variety of colourful schemes and are fully assembled, ready for service on your railroad.

Head lights are working and locomotive runs very smoothly. Updating again as I have bought two locomotives. For the price I have paid, it is really worthy!
Review: It starts out whisper quiet, then... - For some reason this model I've had to return twice. It became quite noisy after about 20mins running at a low speed. I have others of the same GP9 and this version seems to be an issue for me. Both Santa Fe models here.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: does this engine have the motor in it, not just the "dummy" engine ?**
A: Yes, the engine has the motor in it. You can run it out of the box.

**Q: Can it ride on dc 15v analog?**
A: I'm not sure. My grangfather used to use a variable voltage transformer, but I don't know what the voltage range was. Check the output specs on the transformer you have.

**Q: Where is this made?**
A: China, just like the vast majority of model railroad items on the market today.

**Q: Does it come with a track? If not where do I get the track?**
A: No track comes with the locomotive.  Track can be purchased at Amazon or most hobby stores that sell model trains and accessories.  I would suggest Bachman EZ track.  It's the best on the market.
