Great Softbox!
I love this softbox! It is very big but very easy to setup and disassemble! It is perfect for my job as a freelance photographer.

You get the bang for every buck you pay. I used to have sun guns+300rs umbrellas as diffusers for my YouTube. But then i found the uncontrolled light fall affects the quality of the videos. So did i order a Godox sl60 from China as its out of stock here in India. To pair it up i was looking for a nice soft box with a honey comb. I searched the whole internet and here in Amazon they sell it cheaper than China or US. Obviously the soft box came much earlier than the light itself. Just unboxed it last night and it was a quality piece. Even local soft boxes come for 2000rs+, this with quality metallic frames and Bowen's mount is worth paying this price. Also it comes with a grid that you don't have to invest in another honeycomb which is 1200 worth. Easy to assemble. They could have given an instruction manual on how to assemble. It seemed tough in the beginning. But then i like the James Bond No-Manual-Operation style. So just fixed it myself. Came with two layers of diffusers and one black grid to make sure the light falls on the subject itself. Found it's a bit heavy but that makes you feel it's sturdy. I might need to use a sand bag on my tripod. Can't wait to receive my light on transit to have a hands on. And finally, the size i ordered was 120cm and it seems larger for my purpose. I usually have head shots and 80 or 90cm was more than enough for me. But what i heard is, the larger your soft box is, the softer the output light will become.

The softbox is a little difficult to assemble and requires patience and elbow grease. But you do this only once. The entire unit can be then collapsed and stored away. From then on, you open it out like an umbrella. The build quality is excellent for the price. Make sure you don't lose the little nut and washer that comes in the box as you need this to stop the mount from rotating. There are no instructions, but you'll find youtube videos.

I got it for ₹3100. I may have got it cheaper than this but considering the time and commutation fare i doubt it would have been any economical. Pros: you need to fit it only once. it folds with the grid and the modifier, you dont need to take anything off, neither the diffusers nor the grid! How cool and easy is that. Cons: the only con i can quote is the initial assembly! Its not a con though, its more of a "i wish it came with the spokes inserted into the reflective umbrella. Thats it. Ola amigo Godox! Goodbye Rotalux! Useful tip: Each time you will try to pick the umbrella up one of the spokes tip will come out of the fabric. I used hot glue to permanently fix the tipe inside the slots in outer fabric lining. No spoke tips have come out since then. Update: 11-oct-18 This thing creates beautiful soft light. I am extremely happy with the performance of this. Lets see how it stands the test of time.

Takes some effort to assemble the first time but it is simple to do and worth the effort. Once assembled, it can be packed back into the bag for use any time. Seems to be good quality build so far.
