I wasn't sure about these because although they have the highest rating, they were mostly reviewers. I went ahead and got these and I wasn't disappointed. I WISH they would sell individual sizes though because I love these but some sizes I just really don't need. The only real gripe I have is the roll up travel bags. They were annoying and without a vacuum nozzle, I couldn't get all the air out. Those were a waste of money for me. The rest of the sizes were great. They are easy to use, works quickly with a vacuum (I didn't try the hand pump) and had no trouble with any of them filling back up with air.

These bags are great! I bought them because we re moving out of state and I wanted to keep my clothes in an air tight container and these bags do the trick! They not only stay air tight but thy take up way less space than the big organizing containers I was going to buy. The xl bags fit most of my clothes from my closet in 2 bags...I have a lot of clothes!! I'm not done packing yet but I plan to pack all of my bedding and towels and whatever else I can fit in the bags! I also just bought another pack of the 15 bags since it is such a great price!

We've never used these before, and were a littler leery of the capability and quality. We kinda felt like this was a cheap infomercial type product that doesn't necessarily live up to the hype. We were pleasantly surprised. The plastic is stout and the design with a double zip seal in the opening makes loading and sealing simple. The variety of sizes in this kit helps you figure out what size works best for your needs for your next purchase. . The nozzle worked well with our regular vacuum cleaner. It compresses the contents in just a few seconds and the integrated check valve keeps the bag from re-filling while you attach the sealed cap. The hand pump is a throw in, maybe we will take it when travelling, but plan on using a vacuum. We were able to package a queen bed set (comforter, blanket, sheets and pillows) into one large bag and suck it down to a manageable, flat, stackable size. We also compressed two sleeping bags and several other items to reduce everything on our overstuffed cedar closet opening more up even more storage space. We packed up things our adult children left when they moved out to be delivered to them, but we don't want to give up the bags!

It also has bags that are the roll up kind to get air out, for luggage use. They don't compress as much as I'd like but they still work.We did have 1 bag that had a hole in it so it didn't stay air tight, but was fixed with a piece of clear packing tape. We haven't had issues with valves leaking and after almost a week of bags being in use, they are still holding good.Good product for the money and do a decent enough job.

Love these, worked great right out of box. Seal held and was easy to achieve. I used these to squish all my comforters and blankets and have 70% space now in my closet, plus they are protected from moths, dust and mold/mildew. I wash them and then vacuum pack them and then when it's time to go camping, they come out fresh as they went in. They come in many sizes and the biggest will hold three king comforters without a problem. I will update in about a year to comment on how well they have held up. Oh, they also come with a hand pump in case you use these for travel. Nothing worse than vacuum packing your clothes and not being able to resquish them on the other end of your trip. Security usually doesn't mess with clothes b/c they can see that they are clothes through the X-ray so it's a nice way to keep them from rummaging through your personal items and if they happen to leave a cap loose, your clothes are protected from the spills. I am a frequent traveler and I cannot count how many clothes have been ruined by them opening products and not resealing properly. Last trip, they even broke a perfume bottle and put it back in without any perfume in it. The inside didn't reek of perfume so I know the break took place outside of the suitcase. Thanks for throwing the broken glass back in for me, homeland! 'Preciate ya!

Although I have used this same companies bags in the recent past, I am experiencing the same problem as other reviewers, the bags do not hold the tight seal once the air is vacuumed out. Of the 30 bags I just recently ordered only 2 bags so far out of about 25 have actually held tight. I am disappointed in that part of the merchandise. They arrived on time so at least I could start clearing out some of the bulk in my closets, now I have to store the bags I put "stuff" in out in the barn in tubs with lids. Another unexpected expense , maybe I should just donate the clothes?

Not sure how anyone can write these less than 5 stars unless they're not using them properly. Halfway through the 2nd year and they're still sealed tight. I'm back to order more!UPDATE! 1 year later and I just pulled some of my sealed items out of storage to donate. The seal on every item that I packaged in that 'other' brand had failed and every one of these was still sealed tight. I live in Texas and that storage locker can get very hot, probably softening the plastic. NONE of these seals failed. I am beyond impressed, now.ORIGINAL; I am thoroughly impressed by these bags, so far. They seem more durable, they are easier to seal, the sizes are better. The feature that seals when you remove the vacuum and allows you to screw the air port closed without half the bag refilling from back-flow is a stellar innovation.If I had to offer up any opportunity for improvement it would be to introduce one size between Medium and Large. In both those sizes I found myself up-sizing to fit common items (sheets, matelassé comforter, etc.) leaving a lot of unused space in the bag. A better zipper on any brand would be welcomed with wine and roses.All that remains is to see how well these hold their seal over time...
