45W Power Adapter

Lots of adapters. Fitted my old Roberts Internet radio stream 83i. Don't forget to set voltage with screwdriver or the little tool provided and check the polarity. Without extra lead positive is inner contact. Worked perfectly straight out of the box. Nice to have separate transformer rather than a massive plug housing the works. Would buy again.

This is going to save a lot of money. I use it to power a RA motor on one of my telescope mounts, which uses 4 D cell batteries at up to £10 a go. Using this power adapter will literaly save me £100`s a year. Even if it only lasts 3 months it is still worth it. The output voltage is constant and although it adds to my electric bill, at 45 watts, I would have to have it running continuously for 67 hours to use the same amount of power as my oven uses in 1 hour. And a lot cheaper than a pack of batteries every week. (Weather permitting). So well worth it. And it wont go flat in the midle of a cold winters night.

Necessary kit to help a friend.

I bought this to replace a gaming chair PSU that was lost and it provides ample stable power at the required 9v 3A. It has also come in handy for powering up an old Windows 8 tablet that had a misplaced power supply and a VR headset stand also with a missing power supply, (thanks to the useful interchangable connector tips). The only problem it gave me was it couldn't power a Pi3b+ at 5v 2.6A without a few voltage warnings so I can't recommend it for that without testing for longer. If you want a PSU for a Raspberry Pi 3 or newer I would go with a genuine Nintendo Switch PSU to be sure, I have not had any others work 100% for that but for most other devices that aren't so fussy, this PSU will suit you well up to 15v 3a. i do recommend this item if you need to charge an old laptop or have a missing charger, however

It does the job and is compact but was disappointed that it didn't come with the ability to change polarity. I assumed it would so didn't note that it wasn't mentioned. The leaflet that comes with the device advises that a polarity change lead is available for purchase on their site. Disappointed as I will no doubt need it at some time. I was fortunate that the polarity was correct for the item I needed the adapter for. It should be a given that the ability to switch polarity is a requirement for adapters such as these.
