My sister had this and I used while visiting. I LOVED IT, and came home and ordered. Mounted on the wall in the bathroom and direct wired so no cord hanging. Quality is exceptional and the color matched the other fixtures. Mirror size is perfect I think and the side that is magnified does an exceptional job..LOL my son looked at his face after installing the mirror and said OMG look at all those gray hairs on my face. You’re getting a quality mirror and a great value for the money spent. The different brightness selections are perfect.

I use +2.0 readers (could use 1.5-1.75). I adore my 7x. You don’t have to be at “just the right focal point” to use it. I started with a 5x and it wasn't enough. Overcompensated and went to the 10x. In the 10x, you have to be a just the right place to see and this was super frustrating. Then when I did see, it's a heck of a lot more detail on my face than I wanted to see. Boy howdy! That was not good. The 7x was "Goldilocks...just right".I bought the version with the cord and installation was super easy.Initially, the light isn’t super bright on this mirror, but it was adequate. Then I learned there are 3 brightness settings. You need to turn on/off, on/off, on/off to see if the other levels are higher; and they are. Accessing the other brightness levels made it plenty bright for me.A lot of the mirrors have reviews saying the original bulbs aren’t bright enough & recommend replacing with a 6 watts flame-tip LED bulb as it's 'way better' than the original bulbOr you can get a GE Clear Night Light Candelabra Base 4 Watt C7 Bulbs Lamps 73257 91854 (nice light)Or http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C85KI5C/ref=ox_sc_imb_mini_detail?,ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DERDo not use 25 watt bulbs, they will overheat and melt the mirror

I like its color, quality of the material, the workmanship, specially the touch sensitive power button is also the dimmer control and color temperature switch. Most of all, unlike the rest, it is NOT on the mirror itself. It prevents the unnecessary finger prints on the mirror.Unfortunately, to me with old eyes, the maximum brightness of this one is still not bright enough.Highly recommend the manufacturer to add additional LEDs in the mirror.Probably for most people, it is a non issue.If I have to add another improvement suggestion, it would be a flat head plug with curled wire.

I got this for a rental and love it. I have something similar in my home and these are convenient to use, tuck into the wall but more importantly easy to see to put makeup on especially if your eyes are older like mine and need to see up close without glasses or contacts.

Aesthetically this is a good looking mirror. Purchased for my wife as we just remodeled our master bath. Oil rubbed bronze was a perfect match but the build quality is garbage. The light has plastic black slackers in between the base and the swivel arm. They cracked right after installing mirror Can’t understand how they couldn’t use metal spacers or just better quality overall. Very disappointing!

This is a sturdy and good looking mirror in the antique bronze finish. The light is perfect and the 10x is... well.. as scary as 10x probably should be! I was able to mount close to a cabinet where I have an outlet, so the cord doesn't really show. For those who will need to plug it into an outlet, you can find antique bronze wire covers at a home store or buy plastic and spray paint it your wall color. I thought this was a great value.To install, the picture was a bit confusing but I asked a question here and got an answer so quick! You will need to unscrew the back of the mirror base, install that to the wall, then hold the mirror up and screw it into that back part.

I bought this to replace a 20+ yo lighted mirror.I wasn’t home when my husband installed it and that is unfortunate because I would not have kept it.The 10x side is not good and I’m not sure why. I can’t seem to see even pluck my eyebrows using any of the light selections. I ended up having to add one of the little drugstore stick on magnifier mirrors on to it. The little stick on mirror is just great.When my husband installed, he shortened the chord, so now I’m stuck with it.For what this costs, it should be much better than a $5 drugstore mirror.
