Works really well. Did have to put a few clips to shorten the straps.

After purchasing two other brands, I quickly got tired of having to take out the ice pack from the sleeve to re-freeze, then have to put it back. Then I found this brand. It doesn't require a sleeve, you just chill and re-use, saving you all of that extra time and effort. Better yet, these packs stay cold a long time. Even though I usually wear a size Large in men's shirts, I bought the Small Size, and it fits just right. I LOVE these!!!

This was a life saver after my shoulder surgery. Used as an ice pack it helped reduce the swelling making the pain more tolerable. It covers a large area, is easy to use as it has velcro to hold it on. The ice last for about an hour and half. It is a bit heavy because it's a quality material.

After surgery, ice is your best friend.

I have rotator cuff issues, and was sick of trying to use my existing cold packs - I couldn't use them for the whole area. Some of the reviews I have read here are just absurd, it gets too stiff but isn't cold enough, that sort of thing that you know both things can't be true. Neither is true. The people making those statements must be putting it in super cold deep freezes and wearing it over a very heavy wool or flannel shirt. I wear mine over my robe or a regular shirt and the cold still penetrates very well - and it forms to my shoulder with no issues. I thought the ice pack looked cheap from the pictures, but it is very well made. The covering is heavy-duty, the stitching is tight. The hook and loop closures are VERY strong - this won't come undone while you are wearing it.

This is a very heavy ice pack that is meant for only cold, not heat. The instructions say to use as an ice pack. The pack itself says they do not recommend using as a hot pack, including standard warming methods (like using a microwave). I wanted to try this and think it would work well as an ice pack, especially since the product and instructions say to avoid using for heat.

As I get ready for shoulder surgery, I realized that a regular ice pack just wasn’t working. It only numbed a small spot instead of the whole shoulder area and was difficult to keep in place. I decided to give this pack a try and am sooo excited because it actually conforms to my shoulder!!! The wrap allows it to stay in place comfortably and it does stay cold for a good 25-30 mins. I couldn’t be happier!!!! I’m using this a lot now pre-surgery, and I know I’ll be using it even more post-surgery. The only disappointing thing is that the box and product description says it comes with 2 ice packs, which would be fantastic...but it only comes with one. There is a card inside that tells you to go to their website after using the product for 7 days to claim your free additional ice pack. I could really really use that 2nd pack, but it’s going to take a while to get it. Overall I’m so glad I found this ice pack!

I have a SLAP tear that progressed to needing surgery and the pain level is rapidly increasing while I wait for my surgery date to the point that icing and heating are now routine parts of my day. I like this style of wrap because it can be used both warm and cold, it already has a soft body side liner so there isn't a need to find a towel to go under it, and it's easier to secure then a regular pack. But... it has it's limitations. First off, the arm attachement band is only secured at one point which makes it really hard to use single handed when it keeps sliding off the back side. Second, the place my body most needs the pad to cover is right where the cutout is. Third, the arm wrap isn't where I need cold or heat but without it attached there it doesn't stay put on the actual shoulder, so for my particular use it would be nicer to be able to remove the gel at the arm location.

Very good item that can be easily moulded around the shoulder and arm Interestingly the large part fits nicely round my lower thigh and the arm part round just below my knee which means I can use this for my knee pain equally well. Freezes quickly and remains frozen/cold sufficiently long. Good robust material and fastenings that show no sign of deterioration after multiple uses. Easily used by different sized people in terms of height, broadness of shoulder and whether male or female

Exactly as described. Easy to wear. Helped alleviate the pain from my frozen shoulder.

So happy with this product, tore my rotator cuff and needed the ice pack for pain relief. I’m smaller in stature yet I was able to attach it perfectly to my shoulder. Big thumbs up!
