Fantastic piece of hardware that has helped me dramatically un-clutter my desktop and reposition my PC more out of the way. The USB C-to-C with built in USB-A adapter on one side is a great thought and feels quality, so far it has been keeping up with data transfer rates that match the ratings of the ports. I'm pretty confident the bottlenecks are actually in the devices I'm plugging into the ports. The dedicated power brick matches the stated power output and also feels of quality, not super flimsy and concerning that it'll burst into flames like so many other USB hubs in this price point. The actual hub itself has a satisfying heft to it and is very sleek and well manufactured. One very nice feature is the individually "activatable" ports, I don't see it being super necessary but when managing multiple devices it's nice to eject and then turn off the port without actually removing the cord or device, helps prevent me misplacing unique cords and those tiny MicroSD card adapters. I'm usually not a fan of capacitive touch activation on these types of devices and prefer actual physical buttons, but I can see how this will be easier to quickly wipe down and just has a smoother build overall. There has been some thought put into this, as it takes a quick touch to turn on the port, which has a blue indicator light next to each port, and then it takes a ~3 second hold to turn off the port. Other products I've used in the past had just a touch on/off and the number of times I'd disconnect a device while transferring files when I'm trying to plug something else in was so annoying. So far my experience in RSHTECH products has been great, where I have it pictured installed is actually just below two of their USB switchers that I have been using for over 6 months with no issues. I can foresee this product lasting just as long and more. They offer this "extended warranty" free with registry of your purchase for a total of 2 years of warranty which sounds great, much better than the ~30 days you normally have with Amazon items. I've never used their warranty though, so I can't speak on the actually quality of that, just gives me a good feeling for now. I love the quantity and choice of USB ports both A and C, and do like the thought to separate the USB-C 3.2 vs USB-C 3.0 ports on the ends divided by the USB-A 3.0 ports. This helps a lot with quickly and unmistakably putting the right devices into the right ports. Overall, I think this is a solid buy and meets & exceeds its cost. It's certainly not the cheapest hub out there, but I feel like I'm getting a product with quality that matches or exceeds hubs that are easily double its price. Would recommend, buy with confidence. That said this would be a good option for those needing extra ports for moving around small files and are not worried about time. This is great for sitting at home at a desk but for travel requires one more plug to worry about. But its small size of both the unit and the plug make it acceptable if you are considering to travel with it. I found each button worked constantly and easily without fail. have a smooth tactile responsive feel and low throw. This item is good for those looking for a reliable unit at a low price point who aren't bothered by mid level speeds. The company itself has always stood by their warranty and quickly issued any replacements if requested. the customer support has always been friendly and quick to offer solutions. I would love to see them push past the 10GBPS barrier but do not believe they have an interest in doing so. It's has 7 type A 3.0 ports each with there own individual power button so you can keep something plugged in but not being powered until you want it. It's a decent size and the hub comes with its own Power Supply but can also just run off the PC you plug into (considering you're only running small things like a USB flash drive, or a wireless keyboard or mouse dongle. It can easily run two dongles no issue without needing the extra power, but add a extenal HDD/SSD and you're gonna wanna use the included power supply. My unit was originally supposed to come with the type A port for its connection to the PC. But instead it's that printer Type B. As you see i glued some little magnets i pulled out of some old Tablets, or other laptops i scraped or Simply didn't care for and tore down specifically to look inside, and of course magnets. I typically have 3-4 of the ports actually active when using the Hub. My laptop has 3 Type A 3.2 or whatever BS, and one Type C 3.2. So basically all but one port is taken up by 3 External SSD, Crucial 1tb SSD into 1 A port directly into laptop,( used to use the C to C port but now i have a Samsung T7 1TB uing the Type c, & lastly a 2TB WD_BLACK P10 gaming HDD using another A, with the Hub taking the Type A port, my mouse and Keyboards Dongle (both are Razer now so I can use the same dongle for both instead of my old set up needing two, and then i have controller Dongle. With maybe a Jump Drive or two also plugged. I wanted to have it 4.5 stars because of a randomly occurring problem that seams to pop up at the worst times like playing online or just when normal computer stuff. The Hub will suddenly disconnect form the PC (hearing the disconnect sound for everything that was just previous connected secs ago. And then just keeps beating as it trys to reconnect stuff but fails out right. Only fix I've found was to fully power off the Hub, unplug and turn off the buttons, reconnect only the power. Plug everything in, connect to PC, hit the buttons for whatever was needed. And it would be good again. But its random when it does that. Could happen multiple times a day, or only months of it not doing it. And I really should of thought about one of there hubs that had a mix of Type C and A ports since a lot of what I have plugged into the A ports on my laptop directly are SSDs, or external SSD enclosure, I'd rather have using the Type C rather then A. And my external HDD, Jump Drive,dongles, or few frequent Tablets/phones is fine using the A port. Also didn't know this at the time, but my ports are 3.2 (all 3A&1C) are USB3.2 rated but the HUBs only 3.0. Honestly I wouldn't notice the difference im sure.

After adding in a KVM and another computer and monitor, I needed a solution for powered USB in both USB-A and USB-C. This hub has done an outstanding job. I especially like the power on/off for each slot. It also illuminates which are powered on. Great icing on the cake.

This hub solved my "USB port shortage" instantly. It's fast, well-built, and the individual touch switches are surprisingly handy—no more unplugging devices just to turn them off. With 10 ports, plenty of space for everything. I am using it for a Podcast (DougHasQuestions) hosted on YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcast, using three Obsbot Cameras. All are USB-C. Would have needed to buy a computer with three usb-c connections to make it all happen. This was a game changer. One plug to the computer, one plug to power, then 10 available ports.

The casing melted only after a few days with just a few things plugged into it, a mouse controller, a USB hard drive and a WiFi dongle. Do not purchase this device. I was lucky and only the case melted, things like this could elevate into much worse, such as fires. I could've swore I smelled some type of electrical smoke in the air but couldn't find anything, till I noticed my PC had shut itself down and when I checked why my mouse wasn't working I discovered two large round melted spots on the bottom of this USB Hub! For you and your families safety, do not purchase or use this device.
