Oh, I absolutely love these little metals they were very easy to open. I ordered some custom stickers to be made with my business logo on them. Then inside of the actual metal I put like a little plastic gold coin I was buying metals but I teach over 300 kids so by the end of the year I was buying hundreds of dollars worth of metals so here these are cute and inexpensive and I can hand them out like crazy

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Easy to use and my students love to receive these; however ribbon comes off easily.

I bought these for a pickleball tournament and used Avery labels 22807 to print out stickers that look like 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals in gold, silver and bronze. The length of the ribbon is long enough to fit over an adult head, and you could easily change out the ribbon. They’re easy to open, and are perfect for what I wanted.

The inserts are 2.25”. Would have saved me a lot of reformatting if I had known that from the description when I bought them! They made fun medals for our Nurses’ Week celebration.

I bought these for a chili cook-off and dessert contest at our church. We could open the medal, write on the paper with a pen (thin felt-tip seemed best) and present them to the winners. The ribbon is thin and cheap, but this is not for framing and putting in the bookshelf. There are better awards if you want the winner to feel pride in the award. These did quite nicely for the purpose, to let adults know they won in a category. Consider them like party favors.

These are the best thing for awards. I didn't want to give everyone at the birthday party #1 awards or you're the best. I was able to get a circle cutter and cut out their names and other cute items (that I could do on my computer) and put them into the awards. They looked fantastic and very personalized. Would definitely buy again. Don't look flimsy or as if they would come apart right away. Not hard at all to open (for an adult) and put what you want inside.

I used these for an Olympic themed birthday party for my son. We cut circles out of card stock in glitter silver, gold and bronze and then made a special circle on the back side noting the date and name of event. The kids thought they were awesome! Only down side is that the plastic is a little milky ( not completely clear) so it dulled down the inside a little. When I bought them I wasn't sure how they worked but it was easy to just pop them open and add my own creativity. The ones we didn't use can be opened and changed out for whatever we will need them for in the future. Much cheaper than buying the fake plastic metals from the party store and much cuter!

I was more than pleased with what I received given the price of the product. 24 medals for under $8, that comes out to around 33 cents per medal. They ship a box of 24, each medal is just two plastic covers that snap together, connected to a red, white, and blue lanyard. Inside each medal, they give you two blank white circles of paper that you can use to draw on and design your medal. I didn't use these though, as I just printed out my own design on standard printer paper and cut them to fit into each case. The resulting product certainly will not be used as an Olympic medal anytime soon, but for what it is and the price you pay, it's more than acceptable. The plastic cases can be a little difficult to open when you are creating each award, but once finished, they snap together tightly and will not fall apart or break. I would say the low point of this product is how cheap/thin the lanyard is...it's not very wide, nor very thick, and has almost no weight to it. But again, for 33 cents per medal, it's more than acceptable. And if so inclined, it would be very simple to replace this ribbon with any other ribbon/lanyard of your choice in a matter of seconds, which would substantially improve the feel of the product. All in all, five stars, and I'd buy again without question.
