Uygun fiyat

Phillipa never lets you down
I have been waiting what seems like forever for this book, It was so good ( which book of her's isn't though) I finished it in 1 and 1/2 days, and in true Phillipa fashion it leaves it open for a 3rd.I hope the rumours are true that there will be a 3rd! I love how she has now added "The New World, and traveling by ship elsewhere, Her Strong Female Characters have me on the edge of my seat and cheering them on. If you love Historical fiction, Phillipa won't let you down. But be forewarned, once you read just one of her books, you will have to read them all. Wanda H.

Dark Tides

Good read, lacking complexity of her other novels
Mind you, it’s a good read. Compared to many of her other novels, it lacks the same depth in the characters. Also, it has too many overly improbable developments, again on the level of human relationships. It’s due to this human element - not the historical part, which may be well researched - that I rate it only three stars.

Couldn’t put it down
This is the sequel to Tidelands which was completely engrossing. I loved this story too - so much so that I read on into the wee hours, because I didn’t want to put it down. Finished the book in a matter of days as a result! Gregory writes so well. It is a romance story at heart but characters are intriguing and its set in a fascinating time of English history so well worth a read.
