Decent thrower

I've had this for almost a year now and it has held up great. Easy to throw and stick in the Target. It isn't overly heavy either.

The durability is good. It's a little long but rotates well. I wish the blade were 4 inches.

I bought the best non WATL (JXE JXO Throwing Axes ) and they're garbage. Too light to ever stick. I have 4 WATL axes. This one seem heavier (which makes it easier to stick) and the handle is so strong, I always throw this axe first. If a later axe throw hits the handle, it glances off. I've put deep cuts into my axes with wooden handles when a subsequent throw hits the handle.

The plastic handle won't split like the wooden one did but it seems to stick to your hands a little more.

My favorite ax in my collection. I seem to land more shots with this particular axe.

I first bought the hickory handle version which snapped at the head after 5 throws I got an Amazon refund on that one so I bought this one with the nearly unbreakable handle. I didn’t need to buy this one, but wanted a WATL hatchet to compare the cheap ones I buy. It is a 5 star hatchet, I just struggle with the price.
